Fantastic news. I've been advocating keeping all of our D-Lineman until we absolutely, positively have to cut them just because injuries can happen at any time during the offseason/training camp. The only exception to this is Dwan Edwards, more for his own sake than anything else. If the Bills are truly going to be a base 4-3, I say cut him now and give him a chance to sign on with a 3-4 team.

I would have no problem with either Reiff or Martin. I do feel that this is going to be the choice, even if Bell re-signs.

Would not be happy about Tannehill in Miami...unless they're stupid enough to start him early. I think if you keep Tannehill on the bench for a season or two he's really going to develop into one heck of a pro. I've got my fingers crossed that Miami signs Alex Smith and think he's the answer. Smith is fine as a caretaker QB on a team with a tremendous Defense, but take that away from him and his horrible pocket awareness will decimate Miami's offense.

I think likelihood of Reiff falling to us is getting greater and greater. Players like Poe, Tannehill and Brockers are flying up the draft boards with most of them now projected to be in the top 10. However, don't discount Buddy selecting a CB at #10 either...I think thats the dark horse position.

I truly believe if he's there in the 2nd round, he's our pick.

Interesting. Looks like its the Draft then for our 2nd WR. Best guess is that Nix sees all of the outrageously inflated contracts the 2nd and 3rd WRs are getting in FA this year and would rather try his luck in the Draft.

Edwards and Johnson are most definitely on the block...I'd honestly release Edwards as soon as possible. Not because he's not a talented guy, and he sure played hard for us and did whatever we asked of him...but its unfair to keep a pure 3-4 DE in a 4-3 system. I say free him up and give him the chance to sign up with another squad.

In my office with another Bills fan who was anxiously awaiting any news. I told him to turn on WGR about an hour before the news broke. I heard the news get announced at the same time as my boss was in the room talking to me about a project I'm working on. I had to pretend to stay calm and collected with him (a Giants fan) while inside I was celebrating and freaking out. The other Bills fan in the office was DYING to talk to me about it, but had to remain quiet until our boss finished. The moment he walked out of my office...high fives were given and the celebration began. Later that day we went out to the parking lot for a celebratory beer. Classy all the way.
