  1. New England. New England. And then for a change of pace, New England. Here's my reasoning. I'm 28 years old and obviously was not around for the horrendous 70s era games against the Dolphins. My only memories of the Dolphins are of Kelly and Company dismantling them and Marino giving his sad face on the sidelines. So I dislike them when they beat us, but no real hatred there. The Jets and their fans are arrogant, but at the very least the admit to it. Everyone knows their loud and obnoxious, but that's their thing. Its their gimmick. Plus, the Bills and Jets have very rarely ever been good at the same time so there was never that rivalry that developed with other squads. We were good in the 90s, they were Kotite-esque. They were good in the 2000s, we were Jauron-esque. Now the Patriots...oh yes, how I hate them. Unlike the Jets who admit to being arrogant, the Patriots are even more obnoxious but still pretend to be the good guys. They are just as bad with the trash talking and the condescension, but they do it under this veil of "Its okay, we're the Patriots! You all owe us so much for gracing you with our presence". God I hate that. Also I have yet to meet a single Patriots "fan" who has any real knowledge of the team prior to 2001. I bring up Tony Eason and just get an awkward stare. Thats another thing I hate, their fans were so apathetic towards this team before Brady (anyone else remember how they almost moved to Hartford?) but now every Pats fan has been a fan since birth. Hate them. Hate them so much.
  2. Cordy Glenn is seriously the perfect fit for this team, not just in regards of talent but what the Bills look for in their players. 50 career starts (tied for most in Georgia history). Extremely versatile, played Guard for first three years then switched to LT where he garnered First Team All-SEC honors in 2011 . Huge body with jarring strength but shockingly nimble on his feet. Team captain with zero character concerns and no injury issues. If you're worried about Martin because he's more of a finesse blocker, you'll love Glenn. He just seals a player off on the edge with his strength and buries them in the turf. The concern with him is he only started one year at LT and struggled some with the new position in the first few games, but really came on once he had more experience. He's projected to go in the 15-25 range right now, I say take him at 10 and let him duke it out with Hairston over LT in camp. He also acts as insurance if Levitre leaves next season in FA.
  3. I think the best place for Ingram in the NFL is at OLB...you simply cannot deny his athleticism and pass rushing ability but at the same time those short arms are going to make it difficult to bull rush any O-Lineman. Put him on the OLB edge and send him, he'll be a Pro Bowler within three years.
  4. Good mock, hit on all the major weaknesses. The only thing I can critique is I doubt that Trumaine Johnson is there in the 4th but stranger things have happened. Nice work!
  5. Considering that McGee is getting up there in the age department and McKelvin is a B-U-S-T, no Bills fan should be upset with a CB selection in the first round. We need someone to pair with Williams for the next five years.
  6. Its still good information Metz, no worries! I know the Bills also brought in Tank Carder out of TCU (which got absolutely buried during the Mario Williams F5 days) so I think the Bills are definitely interested in these mid round LB prospects.
  7. Is it a draftee? Because I know Andre Branch from Clemson is scheduled in for a visit. EDIT: Buffalo Rumblings says Branch is in today and tomorrow. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2012/3/28/2907975/2012-nfl-draft-andre-branch-buffalo-bills
  8. I know I've got to change my mock draft in saying this, but I truly believe Cordy Glenn is going to be the Bills pick. Over Martin.
  9. That shirt is "bowling shoe" ugly.
  10. Horrendous second round pick considering the talent that is sure to be there at OT, OLB and CB.
  11. "The Defensive Line of the Buffalo Bills featuring Mario Williams, Kyle Williams, Marcell Dareus and Mark Anderson but often supplanted by Chris Kelsay, Torrell Troup, Spencer Johnson and the talented yet troubled Shawne Merriman". Too wordy?
  12. The more I think about this (and despite what my mock says), the more I think the pick is going to be Cordy Glenn, the OT/OG out of Georgia. He fits the Nix/Gailey mold perfectly...tough, versatile and durable. He's absolutely mammoth and (to make the Reiff detractors happy) has one of biggest wingspans in the Draft. A lot of people project him at Guard in the NFL but I think Nix looks at him as a guy who fights with Hairston over the LT in camp. I think the Bills then draft a developmental OT like Massie in the 3rd round to further solidify the O-Line. The Glenn selection also acts as insurance in case Levitre leaves next offseason, you slide Glenn over to Guard and hope by that time either Hairston or (insert developmental LT here) will be ready to step in.
  13. Probably Poz and his Jax contract.
  14. I like all three of those guys. If Jeffrey makes it to our pick in the 2nd, and barring any WR move in the first, he's a slam dunk to be the pick.
  15. I heard the Raiders got quite a few this year...good for them considering they traded most of their draft picks away for Carson Palmer. And woot! 3rd to last pick in the Draft! Hello Chandler Harnish!
  16. Interesting thing to research (the visits to drafted ratio I mean), I'll see if I can dig up any info. One thing I do know though is that under the Nix regime both of our first rounders (Spiller and Dareus) both came in for a predraft visit. That being said, I would say its very likely one of these visitors end up being our first round pick. I truly dont understand the rabid hatred for Martin here, but I'm going to move on.
  17. Unbelievable talent, ten-cent brain. Still though, it would be something to yell Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuce after a sack again...
  18. Actually Bruschi (of all people) made a good point about this. Before Williams and Anderson, you could just send your TEs down the field since there was never a reason to slow down the Bills horrid pass rushers at DE. Now, due to the talent of the DEs, you have to send your TEs to at least bump them which take seconds off their route and potentially disrupts the play each time. While guys like Hernadez and Gronk are talented enough in their own right, the NFL is a game of seconds and losing even a handful could be the difference between a 25 year bomb and an incompletion.
  19. If he's available in the 2nd, you absolutely take him. He's going to be the next Dallas Clark. Unfortunately for us, he wont be there in the 2nd. I see him (after his awesome Pro Day) going in the late first round.
  20. Mark my words, Burfict will go undrafted.
  21. Definitely a better fit at Guard, especially now that we have so much outrageous D-Line depth. If we start the season with Levitre and Urbik as our starting guards with Rinehart and Jasper as our primary backups there, I'd be okay with that. Maybe draft an interior O-lineman in the 5-7 rounds just for insurance.
  22. Is everyone truly comfortable going into next season with a 3rd or 4th round LT?
  23. In our new system Merriman would be a DE. Our starting LBs would be Morrison, Sheppard and Barnett with Moats, Chris White and Danny Batten backing them up. We still need some good depth here.
  24. This better not happen, I'm counting on Tebow to further polarize the Jets locker room.
