  1. Alright! Come on Big Man, time to show the NFL what you've got.
  2. It seems like every year the Bills get another one of those stupid letters...I wonder if they just have them on file in the NFL offices, and all they have to do is change the date on them...
  3. Not only is Kingy a HUGE Pats homer (no pun intended) but he was also one of McGahee's harshest critics. His foot has already been shoved into his mouth on the McGahee situation, hope he's got enough room to fit that other shoe in there when the Bills bring the house down on the Patriots on Sunday night.
  4. LOOKING at Tom Brady in a "mean" way, thats another 15 yarder.
  5. Just throw this onto the pile of Patriots overconfidence for the week...baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad karma just collecting for New England with everything they've done how they've acted this week.
  6. Smart move if they could do it. You DONT want Al Davis to take him and use him against you twice a year.
  7. Oh dear god, Jason White has 6th round QB written all over him.
  8. I'm loving it. MORE overconfidence from the Patriots team, this is great. Talk about bad karma leading into a game.
  9. We didnt prod the Patriots the first time and we lost...so everyone...PROD away!
  10. Trading Travis to the Cards would be kinda mean on our part... Whats that you say Travis? You want to be the sole starter and have the offense revolve around you? Why, do we have the place for you then! Bring your sunblock!
  11. I'd be down with that trade ICE...hell, just a regular early 2nd rounder for him with no other picks in the deal would be fine and dandy with me.
  12. I strongly disagree. Corey Dillon (who's statistics are actually not as good as Henrys) was completely ineffective last year when he played and then went on to throw his little temper tantrum on the sidelines before they benched him for the season in favor of Rudi Johnson. And the Bengals STILL traded him away for a 2nd. Henry, who is younger and has put up numbers that were better then Dillon's best years, was ineffective but has shown he can succeed. A team will cough up a 2nd rounder for him, I guarantee that. A first rounder? HELL NO. A 2nd rounder...sure.
  13. How about Oakland? Al Davis loves to take guys from AFC West rivals, he's already in California...
  14. Check out the Jets free agents this offseason: - Shaun Ellis - Jason Ferguson - Kareem McKenzie - John Abraham - Anthony Becht - Lamont Jordan With the huge contract they gave Pennington, word is they'll only to be able to sign ONE of these guys. Anyone up for a Redskinesque raping of the Jets in free agency?
  15. I agree, I'd rather have two seconds then a 1st rounder and nothing until the 3rd round (unless the 1st rounder is a high 1st rounder). Our glaring needs are on the O-Line and CB depth, and you can still get very solid players in the 2nd round from those two positions.
  16. Thats probably the best way to go at it. I suppose we could package Henry and our 2nd round pick and that would get us a 1st rounder, but I'd only do that if it was a top 15 pick we would get in return. Straight up though, Henry will be traded for a 2nd rounder. No way any team offers anything more for him. What about teams that would be interested in Henry though, any thoughts? I've got a feeling that Al Davis will be a callin' after this season is over...
  17. Saban seems to have lost that "Golden Boy" mentality that he had last year due to LSU having some issues this year. As for Wanny, although its not entirely his fault because Wicky screwed him (...nah...too easy), his leadership skills always were terrible. I'm surprised they waited this long, I would have booted him after last season.
  18. Bills have to keep running the ball right at the Patriots Defense. Their secondary is weak, so clearly BB would imagine the Bills would exploit it. I'd attack the secondary, but only extensively in the 2nd half. Pound that ball with McGahee and then put Henry in when Willis needs a breather. Get them to respect the run, then take advantage of their weakness with the play-action pass.
  19. Good. Let them be overconfident, let them think we are the same team they played a few weeks back.
  20. What I found funny was that most Vikings fans attributed Winfield not getting INTs because the Bills Defensive scheme didnt allow him to (its okay if you dont understand that reasoning...its called being "homerish"). Checking out Winfield in that game last night...uhhh...nope, still looks like ol' stone hands to me! Great cover guy, Great tackler...but acts like his hands are greased every game. Had he hung on to that easy pick in the endzone before the Colts first TD, Minnesota wins the game.
  21. The Bills CANT put the game in Bledsoe's hands. If they need to play catch-up and force Drew to pass in order to do so, the Bills will lose badly. If, however, the Bills can take a lead or keep it within a TD into the 4th QTR, I really like the Bills chances to win in New England.
  22. The Saints are the most likely team to go because they dont have a strong tradition behind them (aside from a tradition of losing). The NFL got a lot of heat for letting The Browns and Oilers move from their cities, and I remember Tags saying that he'd like to keep "traditional" teams in their "traditional" cities. Thats why I always thought the San Diego Chargers would never move to LA because the Chargers do have a strong tradition in San Diego. New Orleans makes sense...plus come on...The LA Saints? Perfect.
  23. No national media props to Willis (at least on a large scale, the guys at PTI gave him oodles of credit today) until the Bills get a winning record. In their eyes it seems, we are just a 3-5 team that keeps winning because of the wind.
  24. Oh god...they are going to totally jinx McGahee since he's one of the better stories of the NFL this year (Next to Big Ben) and expect dozens of stories about him this week.
  25. Oh come on CW, you know I like the guy has a kickoff returner, but he's going through the growing pains of a CB and no one can say that he was on top of his game yesterday. He did a nice job on that fumble recovery, but he also got toasted very Chris Wastsonish a couple of times. I think he'll eventually be good, but he could have cost us the game with that slip-up on the Moss coverage.
