I'd say it is when you have a true superstar in the draft. Sadly though, this year is lacking. What about Mike Williams though at the top spot? Even though he's been out of football for a year, I still say he's a top 5 pick.

Leinart has all the makings of a good college QB and a terrible NFL QB. He plays behind a fantastic O-Line that'll hide his problems, he's got a stud RB and, through his career, has had some of the best WRs to chuck it to. He's a system QB who will have serious problems adjusting to the NFL I feel. Rodgers, on the other hand, is the real deal and should be the first QB taken.

I dont think ANYONE on this board is insulting Drew's personal behavior. He's one of the best guys in the NFL in terms of charity work and, I've been told, is a very nice man. But just because Drew is "nice" wont change my opinion that he is a sub-par QB. If he starts winning games on the road, then I might change my tune...but I'm a Bills fan. I've supported this team through a heck of a lot, and when I see a problem with my team, I just wish it was fixed. And yes, before anyone starts in, I've criticized the O-Line just as much as Bledsoe this year. Both positions need some overhauls in the offseason. Just because a player is a swell guy, it does not shield him from questioning over his level of play. If his play on the field sucks worse then a Norwegian prostitute, then that guy deserves some criticism from the fans.

I dont think I've heard any fish fan say they want him back...if he comes back, they'll trade his crazy ass to the highest bidder...or the team dumb enough to want him.

Didnt say it was the best thing to do for them, just said it was what they were going to do. What choice do they have? Trade Rivers? Sadly, they have to stick with the guy they drafted for the "future" last year and get another pick out of Drew Brees.

Franchise Brees, trade him for the highest 1st round pick you can get. No way they look stupid and not start Rivers next year.

Right on. Simply put, if we force Bledsoe to try to win this game for us, we lose big time. The only way we can win on the road is just keep pounding the ball right at the Seahawks and let Bledsoe throw the ball only when absolutely necessary.

I'm not sure, but I think I remember that NOT being registered as a fumble. Just because I have McGahee on my fantasy team and was surprised that he didnt get any points knocked off for it. So it must have been a forward progress type of thing.

What I find amusing is that smart Patriot fans (they are in that 1% minority of Pats fans, but they do exist) realize that Rodney Harrison is a huge punk. We've had several Pats fans come here and admit to it. But he's a damn good player, despite all of his cheating and cheap shots. He's a guy who will probably end his career in a humiliating fashion, but until then he might as well continue to knock out offensive players and cheap shot more "W"s in the Pats win column.

A very odd thing, but at the college I go to, they published a report that 75% of the people who were registered and eligible for their absentee ballots didnt get them in time to vote. I still dont think it would have changed the election results, just kinda odd.
