  1. Before I opened the link, I turned to my roommate and said "I bet Peerless Price and Ruben Brown are on this list...". Lo and behold, I was indeed correct. Didnt even think of Marcellus Wiley...how can be be overrated since he really hasnt been RATED since the 2001 season?
  2. We can re-sign Price very easily I think...same with Pat Williams. In free agency, I think we should definitely attempt to sign Bubba Franks, that guy is just what we need...sure hands, and surprising speed. Also, there is a nice crop of veteran CBs who could really help bolster our CB depth for cheap.
  3. I always thought Kitna was a good QB, even when he just was starting off in Seattle I was under the impression that he was doing good work. It'll be a VERY tough game for the Bills this week, the Defense has to come ready to play like they did against the Browns and the Bills have to pray that Bledsoe does not revert to his "curl up in a fetal position and die" technique on the road.
  4. Just messin' with you bud. I got a good feeling about the Cincy game myself.
  5. Let me rephrase my idea: Step One: Win the game Step Two: Dont lose the game. We do those two things, and we'll surely do well in Cincy!
  6. So the Raider and Patriot fans have us to thank for keeping their teams in business? Whoa, thats a total mind-screw job right there.
  7. The Bengals offense is on a roll, and I think them beating Baltimore and then duking it out with the Patriots shows exactly how good they are. If the Bills want to win this game, they'll have to give a heavy dose of Willis McGahee right off the bat. Long, sustained drives that end in points take the crowd out of the game and wear down the Bengals already suspect Defense. The keys to the game are, IMO: 1) Establish OUR running game early 2) Stop their running game. If we force the Bengals to pass on us, our Defense can just lay them out...no team will ever beat our Defense by going one dimensional on it. If they cant run, we win the game.
  8. Its all right, one idiot wont ruin the good karma we have gotten over the last few weeks. Dont go insultin' the Bengals fans, if they want to talk trash, let them come here.
  9. You all are kinda slow on the news, he signed that extension months ago.
  10. I'd definitely take Nugent in the 3rd, that kid is going to be one hell of a kicker in the NFL. As for Clarrett, please spare me...I dont care how much talent he "may" have (and that can be debated, he's injury prone as well), the kid is just an !@#$. We dont need that in the locker room. I like the pick of Diamond Ferri as well, although I'd take that DE out of there and select the best available CB in the Draft. McGee and Clements are a good starting CB tandem, but we need some depth behind them and with Clements contract up in 2006, we need some insurance in case he bolts.
  11. Just the potential for 1,000 yards and the fact that he didnt even start for a huge chunk of the season is amazing to me.
  12. Here we go Statue of Liberty, here we go!
  13. Exactly, the Steelers have been lucky because they are able to stay in games and capitalize on their opponent's screw-ups. And lets not even talk about the Steelers at this point...we have tbe Bengals to beat! We get by them, then we focus entirely on humiliating the Niners, THEN we can talk about those pesky Steelers. Until then, its all about the kitties.
  14. Anything to demoralize and weaken the Broncos is okay in my books.
  15. And yet the word out from Cincy is that they are willing to let him go this offseason (he's a free agent) because they are high on Chris Perry. Leave it to the Bengals to be cheap when it comes to one of their best players...
  16. Spikes should be a crazy man in that game...although its going to be a very hostile environment since I know he didnt leave Cincy on good terms. The fans will be on his ass the entire game.
  17. They did manage to beat the Ravens in Baltimore...when we went to Baltimore, we got our asses handed to us.
  18. Reserving judgement on our game, I see... Indy over Baltimore. Jets over Seattle. KC over Denver. Green Bay over Jax. That would put us in great shape for the playoffs I believe, as long as we come out of Cincy with a win. I expect the Chiefs to roll over Denver, big time. The Broncos are a confused team, they BARELY managed to subdue the Dolphins in Denver yesterday.
  19. If Kitna starts, we'll have a QB who has been riding the pine for most of this season. If Palmer starts, we'll have a QB who is injured going into a game against a Defense that just swarms you when they smell blood. And an injured leg is smelling mighty good to the Bills D at this point. This is the Bills playoff game. They win, and suddenly a playoff spot is within their grasp. If they lose, this late-season surge was too little, too late.
  20. Jax will lose in Green Bay...the Packers are still fighting for their division, and they are very tough to beat in December. Case in point, today the Lions should have beaten them, but GB snuck away with a victory.
  21. The Jax and the Baltimore scenarios will happen...we just have to cross our fingers on one of the other two situations occuring. Hopefully Denver will Rosen...I mean, they DID struggle to put away Miami in Denver today.
  22. Not Matt Leinart, the guy that they have a hard-on for over at Fin Heaven. Ol' Leinart is going to stay at USC, making this year's QB class even MORE pathetic.
  23. Hey, if you tossed a full cup of beer at Thurman, it would have come back at you totally empty.
  24. Does it matter with them though? They could pull Al the janitor from the local Jr. High School, plug him behind that O-Line and he'd start piling up the yards.
  25. Friggin Dolphins are going to lose this game...the only "help" we got all day was the Jets losing.
