I personally see Jonas Jennings as good as gone once free agency hits, he'll ask for waaaaaaaaaaaay too much money and be shown the door. As for Peerless...I dont think Atlanta would give up on him this quickly, but if they do I wouldnt mind seeing him crawl back to us. I think a combo of Moulds, Evans and Price would be damn scary to any Defense.

Call it morbid curiosity, but would anyone here take Peerless back if he gets released?

The Patriots only gave up a 2nd rounder for Corey Dillon and Travis Henry is nowhere near the same RB as Dillon is. A 3rd rounder is optimistic I think. Also, the Rams only gave up...what was it...a 2nd rounder for Marshall Faulk? Is Travis in the same group as those two in their primes when they were traded?

What I would assume TD would do in the offseason is the same thing he did with Peerless. Bring TH into his office, ask him whether he wants to be traded this year or play out the last year of his contract with the Bills. If he wants to be traded, get a list of potential teams that Henry would LIKE to go to, and see what happens. I do see Henry traded this offseason, but I wouldnt expect anything more than a 3rd rounder for him.

I totally agree. Sproles really fell off the radar this college season, but I have a feeling that he'll contribute very well at the NFL level.

To me, my offseason goals would be: 1) Re-sign Pat Williams and Marcus Price 2) Replace Jonas Jennings with Tra Thomas/Orlando Pace/Walter Jones/Kareem McKenzie (all are UFAs, hopefully we can lure one to Buffalo). 3) Sign Bubba Franks Then draft a CB in the first day as insurance in case Clements decides to bolt in 2006 and we should be set for a SB run. I'd also love to see our 2nd rounder be used on Mike Nugent, who I think could really complete this team.

Lindell is a huge problem to this team. Yeah his stats are okay, but thats only because Mularkey uses him consistently when its inside the 30! Take Nuge in the 2nd or 3rd round and we'll have a weapon instead of a limitation at kicker.

At the start of the winning streak, I wore my Pete Metzelaars jersey as a goof just because I had worn all of my other jerseys on Sundays and the Bills got crushed. Since ol' Pete's name has been on the back of my jersey, the Bills keep winning.

NEVER say never in the NFL. If I remember correctly, we had about 20 people claiming "ITS OVER!! ITS OVER!!" last week at this time when the Jags won, and then yesterday they get B word-slapped by the Texans. If you honestly think the Colts or Rams will just mail it in because it doesnt "mean" anything in terms of playoff spots, then clearly anyone who says that has not been paying attention the last few years. Need I remind anyone of the Cards totally screwing over the Vikings last year?

It sucks, but thats the way it goes. I dont think ANYONE could say that this season hasnt been a success though. If we get snubbed from the playoffs, we simply take this great team and ride into the 2005 season with it and start dominating from the start.

Hey, considering how complicated it was last week, I'd say that winning and one loss from either of those two teams is pretty simple. I have a really good feeling that the Colts are going to beat the Broncos for us.

To put it simply...if we win and the Jets OR Broncos lose, we are in the playoffs. All we need is us to beat the Steelers and one of those two teams to lose.

I played 3 years of football on the O-Line for Shenendehowa High School and I played against Anthony Weaver, the DT who plays for the Baltimore Ravens. Actually played against him twice. He was playing for Saratoga Springs High School at the time, and I feel no shame in admitting he beat my ass all over the field, I was lucky he only got one sack on me. The guy is BUILT like a rock, but sadly about as smart as one too. Nice guy though, just kinda dumb.

I talked to a Steeler fan last night who essentially said the same thing. I guess he was a training camp favorite.
