  1. As do I Rich...if there is anything I can do to help you out with it, hit me up with a PM.
  2. I completely agree. Now I know everyone likes O-Lineman, I do to...but can we really afford to wait another 3 years to let an O-Lineman pick develop? This team is ready to compete in 2005 with the proper adjustments, and drafting a 2nd round O-Lineman to me would be a move that would be planning for the future instead of getting the team ready for this upcoming season. I'd make all of our O-Line improvements in the free agent market, get guys who are already developed and know how to play the game. Maybe no one spectacular like Jones or Pace, but solid contributers like Villarial last year who can hold up and control their spot on the line. Then for the Draft, save that 2nd rounder for Mike Nugent, a player who can step in immediately and upgrade a weak spot on the team.
  3. I do find comfort in the fact that I was able to shut up a Jets fan in the bar when he was bragging that the Jets won last night with a "You may have won, but the Bills turned the Jets into their prison bitches a few months back". Is it somewhat depressing that the Bills completely dominated both teams that made it to the divisional round yesterday?
  4. I'd go with 10-6...we definitely would have won at least the Jags game or the Raiders game.
  5. Nugent will not make it to our pick in the 3rd, I'm 100% confident that he'll be gone by the time we get to pick again in the 3rd round. If we do manage to trade Travis for a 2nd rounder, I'd take Nugent and the best O-Lineman available in the 2nd round, and then a CB in the 3rd. Maybe Antonio Perkins if he slips that far. I agree on the Freddie Jones move...very underrated and underutilized player. Also, I'd sign Dane Looker from St.Louis. He'd really help our passing game with his sure hands.
  6. I'd take Feely or Reed any day...of course the same goes for Adam Vinatieri, but there is no way he makes it to free agency. In fact, I highly doubt Feely or Reed make it to UFA either. Best bet is still Nugent.
  7. Thats why I'm so high on drafting Mike Nugent...the kid is just amazing and I would actually say is better right now then 75% of the kickers in the NFL today. I've never actually been impressed by watching ANY kicker until I saw Nugent, he was absolutely destroying the ball on kickoffs and nailing 45+ FGs with plenty of room to spare. If we use our 2nd rounder to get him, we take another huge step forward.
  8. Nugent would be the best move for us because, as so many here put it, he gives us the best chance to win. Now I know he's "just a kicker", but raise your hands if you are equally tired of watching Lindell's kickoffs plop at the 20 yard line or watching Mularkey forced to plan our offense around Lindell's inability to hit anything over 30 yards consistently? Nugent would give our offense a kick since we would no longer be forced to take so many risks...we can just settle for FGs and let our Defense get the ball back if need be.
  9. Sad but true...the sooner Lindell is gone, the better in my books.
  10. He'll definitely make it to the 2nd round, no team (sans the Raiders) would be so foolish to draft a kicker in the 1st. How far he makes it down in the 2nd round is up for debate however.
  11. Anyone else depressed that we are touting an AF2 guy over our "NFL" kicker?
  12. I do think we'll get something for Winfield, but it wont be much. A 7th rounder or, at best, a 5th.
  13. As for Travis, if we can get a 2nd-3rd for him, I'd be very content. Lets face it, if you find a willing buyer you can essentially rape them for whatever you want (*cough cough* Atlanta *cough cough*). Who was it that gave up a 3rd rounder for that offensive megastar Lamar Gordon? If the Bills find a team that really has a hard-on for Travis, teams like the Raiders, Cards or Browns spring to mind, then you could easily snag a 2nd rounder and help solidify our roster in the draft.
  14. Very cool. Even though last weekend was a disaster for us, I was surprised by how many Steeler fans had uber-respect for Mike Mularkey. Seems he's getting a lot of credit in the national media as well. He's a future coach of the year in my opinion.
  15. What makes me like him even more is that he seems to be a perfect Buffalo type of guy. Very low-key, but with a bizzare fan following (I saw an Ohio State game with a bunch of people in the endzone with a sign that read "Nuge's Nook"). The guy would be an absolute perfect fit in Buffalo.
  16. Only one problem...Leinart is probably staying in college and Kyle "Big Fumble" Orton is an absolutely terrible QB. This entire draft QB class is terrible for 1st and 2nd rounders, but we arent looking for a future starter, just a decent backup. Thankfully, what this year's college class lacks in future starting potential, it seems to make up for in decent backup quality QBs. TD was very smart to grab Losman last year, he must have taken a peek at this year's class and cringed.
  17. I honestly dont see Nugent escaping the 2nd round. If we dont get him, I feel certain that a team like the Vikings will take him with their 2nd rounder after our selection. For me, I'd have to see a HUGE name drop to the 2nd round in order to sway me from picking Nugent. We finally have a chance to land a weapon...a surefire thing who can consistently boot long FGs in crappy weather and send kickoffs amazingly deep. This is our guy.
  18. I have no problem drafting a back-up QB in the 4th round or so. A guy like Stephen LaFors would be an interesting prospect to have...
  19. Close your eyes and pick a position...as long as its not a RB, the Giants need help at that spot. Every team with a piss-poor O-Line will try to snag Jonas...I'm expecting he'll take the big bucks and leave Buffalo.
  20. Both Britt and Brooks would be fine selections in the 2nd round. Count me in the group who thinks that Wesley Britt will be the steal of the draft, that kid is fuggin dominating. Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuutttt, I still say draft Mike Nugent with our 2nd rounder. Enough of this Lindell BS, time to get a real weapon for our special teams. Plus, Nugent is widely regarded as the best kicker to come out of college since Janikowski, just without all of the baggage that Sebastian The Drunk came with. Trust me, if we can get Nugent by our pick in the 2nd, we really should jump on it. Here is a kicker who knows how to kick in crappy weather and is amazingly conssitent. Not to mention uber-clutch in pressure situations. This is our man.
  21. You were wise, my friend. I tried it once over in Europe...never again.
  22. I was there and the only piped in crowd noise I heard was when the Jumbo-tron was trying to pump up the crowd.
  23. If you want a cheap and VERY solid WR, check out Dane Looker out of St.Louis. He was very underutilized by that idiot Martz, and he rarely drops any balls. Would be an excellent, low-key free agent pick up for us. In fact, I hereby make him my "Marcus Price" 2005 free agent priority.
  24. Time to kill myself I suppose. I love it when people ignore parity in the NFL. Tis not the 1970s NFL anymore.
