  1. If thats true, I'd like to see the Bills trade him as quickly as possible. Not because I loathe the man and what him off the team, but just in terms of value his stock would never be higher then it would be before free agency begins.
  2. A 3rd rounder is about the floor for what I'd accept as well. There are a lot of teams looking for a RB, so I think we could ship him out. A lot of people around here say that certain things will depress his value, but that didnt stop Peerless Price from snagging us another 1st rounder, did it? Price had just as much baggage and somehow TD found a sucker. Now, because Travis is a RB he wont command a 1st rounder, but I'm actually more optimistic at getting a 2nd rounder for him now then I was a few months ago.
  3. Now here is a question...WHEN is the earliest can we trade Henry? Is there a date that we can start shipping him out before free agency actually begins? The reason I ask is because the best market for Henry would come before any big name RB gets a chance to take potential suitors away from us. As for the teams mentioned, I definitely see Oakland as going strong after Henry. He's the typical Al Davis pick-up.
  4. Tim Couch = 0% confidence in himself.
  5. I'd take Jones out of that TE list. He'll come cheaper then the rest and would be a great addition to our offense. A Soft hands guy and a former Pro Bowler who has been very underutilized in Arizona. As for the WRs, I'd be happy with either Looker, Wilson, Patten or Givens. In terms of 3rd WRs, all would be better then what we got.
  6. Let Jonas go if he asks for too much money. Re-sign Marcus Price Sign Ryan Diem from the Colts. Simple. Effective. Joygasmic.
  7. I'd keep Reed around until training camp, but I agree...I'd axe Prioleau and Lindell the first chance I'd get.
  8. The one plus side to not having a 1st rounder is not needing to fork over the cash to our rookie pool. And yes, that is the ONLY plus side to not having a 1st rounder.
  9. Pretty darn good...with Moulds restructuring that'll give us over 10 million bucks to play with. Enough to re-sign Williams or Jennings and then bring in 2-3 quality free agents. Sounds good. Also, interesting to note is that we would save around 1.3 million dollars on this year's cap by trading away Henry.
  10. Raise your hand if you'd welcome Wiley back...
  11. My Offseason wish list, as it stands today would be: Tender offers to Dorenbos, Stamer, Burns and Thomas. Re-sign Pat Williams Re-sign Marcus Price Sign Dane Looker Sign Ryan Diem Sign Rick DeMulling Sign Freddie Jones Trade Travis Henry for a 3rd rounder Draft Mike Nugent with the 2nd rounder, and then the best available CB and O-lineman with the two 3rd round picks. Finish off the draft by snagging a 4th round QB (LaFors) and a 5th round RB for depth. The only free agent out of those who I think will ask for big coin is Ryan Diem, who is really emerging as a fantastic O-Lineman. The rest of them are very underrated but hard-working players, a la Chris Villarial type of free agent pick-ups who could really help out the team.
  12. I think an excellent 3rd WR addition would be Dane Looker out of St. Louis. The emergence of Kevin Curtis has made him expendable, but he really has soft hands and is very quick to get open. Would be a nice, cheap possession WR for whoever starts at QB next year.
  13. What a load of crap. Hey Al Davis...Hey Patriots...why dont you both grow some balls and stand up for the guy who kept both of your teams in business?
  14. I think Bledsoe must have still been taking his 15 minute power nap throughout the 4-hour period of the Steelers game.
  15. Either player would give us a HUGE upgrade on our O-Line. We dont have to go after the big fish (Pace and Jones) to solidify our line.
  16. Mom and Dad are fighting again...you always do this in front of my friends!
  17. Uh oh...Warren Moon just threw himself in front of history and connected with Webster Slaughter for a TD, thereby ending the Bills comeback.
  18. Did he hold the ball up to show the ref he had it first?
  19. He is...but I dont think TE is that much of a priority, what with Campbell and Euhus hopefully continuing to develop. Besides, I'd much rather see that money spent on O-Lineman in FA.
  20. Funniest thing I heard all week: "Denver is going to play man-to-man on the Colts...that means Denver is going to lose."
  21. Remember, the only way a common Jets fan can spell the word "Jets" is with the help of 60,000 other people helping him to spell it out.
  22. I just keep telling myself that adversity forges great teams...but watching these lackluster efforts (The Seattle/St.Louis "No, YOU win this game" and the Jets/Chargers "Anything you can !@#$ up I can !@#$ up better" game) is somewhat painful.
  23. I really like the idea of Freddie Jones. The last few years in Arizona, he's played with really craptacular QBs. From Plummer to McNown, none of them used the TE very much. He was a Pro Bowler at one time and I think would be a great safety valve for Losman next year.
  24. I've finally figured out why I hate Mike Tice so much. The guy is basically a high school gym coach. He has no positive characteristics other then the fact he can yell loudly. No motivational skills, no exceptional offense or defense prowess. The guy is just a high school gym coach at the NFL level. He's got that "I've already been fired" look to his face lately as well...one year option indeed.
  25. Thats what 90% of the other NFL teams would like as well...
