  1. Oh please...a lot of us here grew up with Bert & Ernie, this is nothing that kids of the past few generations havent seen before. Sheesh.
  2. Randy Moss = Destined to be a Raider. Knowing Al Davis, he'd give up two first round picks over the next two years to get Moss.
  3. I agree...Leaf was just an ass, who never showed ANY talent in the NFL. At least Couch flashed some potential from time to time. Leaf just managed to piss off everyone he came into contact with.
  4. Those Browns fans should be ashamed of themselves, but I think they are in the minority. The Browns fans that I know are as dedicated and as passionate about the Browns as we are for the Bills. Just because a few people are dumb and switching teams doesnt mean the Browns fans arent loyal.
  5. The problem with Couch is and always was a total and complete lack of confidence in himself. You know, people rag on Losman because some call him "cocky", but if Couch had even half of Losman's confidence in his abilities, Couch would be a Pro Bowler right now and the Browns would not be a cellar dweller. I remember one Browns game where Couch threw an INT and then had this "oh well, its going to be another one of those days" look of frustration on his face. Good QBs get pissed when they throw INTs and want to get back in the game to correct their mistakes. Couch just gave up. A very sad story for him, that kid had no self-esteem at any point in his career.
  6. My older brother has his 4 year old son watching Family Guy...that kid is going to know what a "donkey punch" is before he knows how to add. And I find that somewhat amusing.
  7. I was waiting for someone else to point that out...glad I'm not the only person who noticed.
  8. I totally agree, Diem is the one O-Lineman I have targeted this year in free agency because he is a vastly underrated O-Lineman who is ready to explode into NFL dominance. If he signs with the Bills, our O-Line is twice as better with just adding him (upgrading us from craptacular to average).
  9. Indeed...I want to see at least one new OT and one new OG come in before we even think about getting a TE. Its clear what our problem is, if we address it and have some cash to burn, then address the TE or CB or 3rd WR spot.
  10. 23...and I thought I was one of the few young'ins on the board.
  11. I'd take Pollard, Franks or Jones...in that order.
  12. Only if we trade Bledsoe in the division...hey, there's an idea! Lets trade Bledsoe to the Fins and get a win-win situation out of it.
  13. Its a good idea, but I really dont want to see us trade inside the division at all. The only possible way I'd even consider an offer from the Fins is if they offered up their first rounder, and as we know thats not going to happen. So I like the idea of performance based draft picks and I'd definitely support that system for any team ASIDE from Miami.
  14. Modrak should get all the credit in the world for the stuff he did BEFORE coming to Buffalo. Lets remember, he was the one who took McNabb over the pot-head Wicky Williams and got blasted by the Philly fans and media. I bet they arent complaining now. By the way, could you just imagine how much faster Wicky would have been out of the NFL if his career started in Philly? Imagine how much the fans would have destroyed whatever self-esteem he had.
  15. Dane Looker...one of the most underrated players in the NFL today. Get him away from St. Louis and out of Martz's doghouse and we'll have an excellent and fairly cheap WR option. Just a thought for those who'd like to save some more cash for the O-Line.
  16. Definitely Kicker, but thats not on the list. Any team that gets Nugent will have a Pro Bowler-type kicker for the next decade...I guarantee you that with Nugent, we win 2 more games just by having him over Lindell.
  17. Chris Gray would be sweet...the guy is very underrated. Would give us two grind out and nasty players at guard. Also, Smoot would be an interesting pick-up I think. The guy is arrogant for sure, but with Clements potentially on the way out in 2006, it might be wise to lock up a replacement.
  18. Williams I'm surprised by...Jennings might be a player who we Bills fans covet but gets no national media exposure. When I told a Steelers fan buddy of mine I was worried that he'd leave, he just looked confused and asked "Who is Jonas Jennings"?. To my shock, another friend also had no idea who he is either.
  19. Gotta go with the Cards...they seem to want him more than any other team. The Bucs might just have a passing interest, although their pick clearly is the best for us.
  20. I can think of a few hundred reasons
  21. I'd love to have him in Buffalo, but as Hollywood said he is more than likely going to be franchised. The reason I'm so high on Nugent is simply because I dont see any of the kickers actually making it to free agency. Jeff Reed and Jay Feeley will be re-signed by their clubs...leaving us with what? A kickoff specialist from San Francisco?
  22. Janikowski also just signed a long term deal to stay with the Raiders a month ago...he shant be going anywhere. But I'm with on the idea that we totally need a replacement at kicker.
  23. If its a Patriots or Dolphins LB due to a punishing stiff arm en route for a 99 yard TD run...I'd only be slightly miffed at his manslaughter.
  24. Probably fake because teams dont go releasing players while there is still 3 weeks left in the NFL season... . Plus I think the whole point was to release him after March 1st to avoid a cap hit, so why would he expect to get released "any day now"? Not that I wouldnt like to see Bledsoe go bye-bye, but they are probably just reporting the same ol' Mort report.
