  1. I KNEW this thread would eventually be started when I saw the new writer on BB.com. I just knew it. You people should hang your heads in shame! And yes I would.

  3. I think it would be par for the course if McKelvin suddenly puts it all together and dominates this season...juuuuuuuuusssst in time for unrestricted free agency.
  4. I always liked Drayton, but he's getting older and older and his play last season was definitely shaky. Odds are he would have had a decent bounce back season with our improved pass rush, but then again the younger guys will also look pretty good and are under contract longer. As he said in his tweet, its business.
  5. So he's faster, stronger and bigger than he's ever been? Someone want to retweet that to Sanchez and Tannehill (and send smoke signals to Brady?)
  6. From Chris Brown: During Wednesday morning’s Vince Young workout at One Bills Drive a handful of players on Buffalo’s roster ran routes for the free agent quarterback. Wide receivers David Nelson, Donald Jones, Naaman Roosevelt and C.J. Spiller all participated and caught passes from Young.
  7. I've also got this weird feeling that McKelvin is going to have a VERY good year. And look at that, just in time for a new contract. Strange timing, right?
  8. Ladies and Gentlemen...the workout has begun. What are we all thinking? 4pm presser? *ducks*
  9. Mario Williams is Jacoby Jones in disguise?
  10. The Bills are having open tryouts that weekend, methinks since he was not announced as one of those UDFAs thats what he's in town for.
  11. If we like him? Tempo. If we don't like him? Gas station food.
  12. Looks like he's already in town. You know what that means. Tempo tonight!
  13. Props to Erik in the Shoutbox for the info. http://blogs.buffalo...-for-bills.html
  14. I mean this with the utmost respect to Aaron Williams who did show flashes of talent last year, but I truly believe Ron Brooks and Stephon Gilmore will be our starting CBs for years to come. There is something about Brooks...his speed, his tenacity, his fire, his humility...that just screams to me "starting caliber NFL CB". He reminds me very much of Terrence McGee in his (uninjured) prime. Not knocking on Williams again, heck I hope he steps up and we have the enviable problem of three starting CBs on this squad.
  15. At times I felt like the Browns were drafting out of one of those draft magazines. "Who cares if he doesn't fit our system? It says here he's the best guy on the board! Pick him!"
  16. DAY-UM. That's what we in the business call "unfair" hot.
  17. I read that and felt horrible for the poor guy. Not funny, just wrong.
  18. I will do cartwheels if we can land Martin.
  19. Alright Bills fans, you've had a night to sleep on Gilmore and examine what the Bills need going into the second round. Lots of great talent still out there and with the Bills having the 9th pick in the 2nd round, they should be able to land a good one. Let's hear your top 9 players who are left on the board that you hope the Bills will get in the 2nd. For those needing a refresher, here is NFL.com's player tracker which lets you sort by who is still available. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2012/tracker#dt-tabs:dt-by-position/dt-by-position-input:qb Here are my top 9, in order of preference! 1. Cordy Glenn, OT/OG from Georgia 2. Jonathan Martin, OT from Stanford 3. Rueben Randle, WR from LSU 4. Stephen Hill, WR from Georgia Tech 5. Mike Adams, OT from Ohio State 6. Courtney Upshaw, OLB from Alabama 7. Andre Branch, DE/OLB from Clemson 8. Brian Quick, WR from Appalachian State 9. Alshon Jefferey, WR from South Carolina
  20. Keep an eye on Andre Branch. All I'm sayin'.
  21. Doug Whaley got to sit in the captain's chair for 10 minutes!
  22. How do you improve a divided locker room that has struggled with malcontents and "me first" players? By adding the draft's ultimate malcontent and me first player! Good thinking.
  23. Bills won't take Massie, they view him as a RT. Said so on the prospect review videos on BB.com. Realistically, its Martin, Glenn or Adams. God I hope they don't take Brown, what a reach that would be.
  24. I thought it was interesting when Nix said they were looking to add 2 OTs to the team, but explained that there is still free agency options after the Draft. Methinks Marcus McNeil might get a phone call.
  25. 1. Gilmore: Content, not overjoyed. I know its a need and Gilmore is a good player for the Bills secondary. 2. Barron: I understand the pick, it makes sense...but I'd still be annoyed. Not the right time for a player like that. 3. Kuechly: Happy. He can cover the TEs just as well as Barron could IMO. 4. Floyd: Surprised, but happy. I dont think he's very high on the Bills board. 5. any LT other than Kalil: Depends. If its Glenn, I'll be content. If its Reiff or Martin, I'll be upset. 6. a trade up for Kalil: VERY happy as long as its just a 1st and 2nd swap. 7. Tannehill: Urge to kill...rising...
