I'd like to see what draft board you were looking at because every single one I've seen (at least over 25 since the end of the season) have Nugent as the #1 kicker this year and have him slated to go by the end of the 3rd round at the very latest. Some even have the Vikings taking him in the 2nd. I'm guessing that whatever draft value board you were looking at hasnt been updated since the start of the college football season because Nugent is the overwhelming choice to be the #1 kicker off the board in the 2005 Draft.

Khalif Barnes will never make it to our pick in Round Two...he really dominated at the Senior Bowl game and if he has a strong Combine, he'll make it to the bottom half of the 1st round.

Nah, Lafors definitely will get drafted...it all depends on how he does at the Combine. He could go as early as the 4th round or as late as the 6th.

Those grabby Bills should have let the rest of the AFC defenders had a little fun...someone should have told Takeo that this is just a goof-off game, he came off as insanely intense.

Bill, do you really have that much faith in Ron Edwards? I mean, he showed some flashes this year and definitely improved over his previous seasons, but you think he's good enough to be a starter?

I do see the Jets making a run at Jonas Jennings once he makes it to free agency. To me, Jonas will test the FA market and probably leave Buffalo, so if the Jets want to make a play for him, I think they'll have their chance.

Fitzy doesnt strike me as an NFL QB. I dont even see him as a decent backup. To put it into terms that all of you video game savvy people will understand, he's one of those QBs in the Madden franchise mode that is ALWAYS available in the free agent pool. I really like David Greene myself...it would be interesting to see what the Bills do in the 3rd-4th round of this year's draft if Bledsoe does indeed get released. I would draft a QB simply because any QB the Bills sign in FA this year will probably be a short-term solution to the backup QB spot. Take a QB in Round Four and develop him to be Losman's backup.

Bills have mucho money under the cap and can easily re-sign him if they want. Dont hold your breath, Pat Williams wants to stay in Buffalo and has lots of ties to the area. Donahoe usually doesnt get to work until after the Pro Bowl in terms of re-signing FAs, so I'm sure that Williams will be re-signed over the next two weeks. Jonas Jennings on the other hand, you'll probably have a shot at.

Willis McGahee and JP Losman also both have action shots...does that mean we are releasing them too?

Watching Ron Dayne chunk his way down the field in a Bills uniform might make my brain explode...being in the Albany area, I get the crappy NY Giants TV games and Ron Dayne was downright sad the last few years.

I'm really big on Dane Looker from the Rams. Here is a guy who couldnt get a shot because he was on the same team with Holt, Bruce and the surprising emergence of Shaun McDonald as a decent 3rd WR. Looker has some serious talent though, and he really came through in the playoffs when he was the only Rams WR without the dropsies. He'll come pretty cheap too...I'd definitely take a chance on him.

I havent seen ANYTHING in Aiken that would make me think that he is capable of being a #3 WR. All I've seen from him is his knack for getting hurt and dropping passes with no defender around him. Getting another WR will be a definite FA move this offseason.

I was big on bringing Coleman to Buffalo last year when he was an UFA...but he re-signed with Tampa Bay for a 1 year deal...and now is a UFA again. I believe he started every game for them though, so he might be worth a look.

Can the Packers franchise Bubba Franks? Last I heard they were in really crappy salary cap condition, to the point where they'd have to release players just to get under the cap before March 2nd. I really like Freddie Jones myself...I think whoever gets him will have themselves a Pro Bowl TE...poor guy could never get it going in Arizona, but as long as he stays healthy he could dominate like he did a few years ago. But I'm glad someone else brought this up...you do all realize that Pierson is just wasting millions of dollars in cap space right? His butt is as good as gone.

I'll take that Derrick Brooks guy, I hear he's pretty good... Honestly though, I'd take their 3rd rounder and either a WR or a O-Lineman.

I really dont understand some football "experts" in the national media. After the Steelers game, all I heard was how Bledsoe was holding the Bills back and they questioned why a QB with so much experience could not complete even the most simple passes against the Steelers backups. Yet now, we get rid of him and we are screwed. The flip-flopping is quite sad. Its like they all have ICE-syndrome!

Rob Johnson...yeah we used a 2nd rounder on Todd Collins, but we gave up a 1st and 4th rounder for the RIGHT to have Rob Johnson be the starting QB on this team. Yuck.
