I was just having this same conversation with some of my roommates. The whole point of the Stanley Cup was to reward the BEST team in hockey that year. Well, with the NHL not being around, the best team should be in the AHL. I say the AHL team that wins the championship gets the Cup.

How much of that will be from VABills?

Warner wants to start, he already made that clear, which is why he is leaving the Giants. If he wanted to be a back-up, why not just stick around in NY? I see Warner going to Chicago or Arizona where he can start.

If TD lets Pat walk, he better have another option in FA waiting for us. I dont see why you want to mess with a good thing...I know our Defense rotates DTs often, but Phat Pat is a big reason for our recent defensive dominance.

Because Bledsoe started all of the games last season, thats my guess. You figure that 95% of the nation doesnt get Bills games regularly, so clearly they would not have been able to view Bledsoe's inept performances over the last 3 years.

One thing Losman does have going for him is that its almost impossible to find a better situation for a rookie QB to start in. He's got a stud RB who is only going to get better next year (and getting better on a +1,000 yard, 13 TD season is damn scary), he's got a Pro Bowl veteran WR and an explosive, down the field megastar in the making. TD already stated that his #1 intention this offseason is to improve the line, so more help is already coming to solidiy the O-Line for him. That, and he has the #2 Defense and #1 special teams in the NFL to back him up. Losman will be given more than most QBs are given for their first crack at the starting position.

Do people not remember that Kordell tried to whore himself off to Buffalo LAST year, only to be rejected? Selective history rocks!

It also gives Jonas Jennings a price range now...and a high one at that. Now that Jones is not a free agent, thats one less stud tackle on the market and it ups the demand for Jonas.

Jonas will easily bolt for more cash...thats one less LT on the market now. I'm curious to see how the Bills react to that situation, hopefully Rian Diem is on his way to Buffalo to replace Jonas.

I still think the Bills will draft a QB just to man the 3rd QB spot and to groom to be Losman's backup when Matthews does eventually retire.

I dont blame Shane Matthews if he wants to retire though...the guy put up with Spurrier for so long, he deserves it!

If Andrew Walter fell THAT far and was around for our pick, I'd definitely take him, what with the need for backup QBs on this roster. I love the Baas pick though, he's an awseome O-Lineman. Reminds me a lot of LeCharles Bentley of the Saints.

I want a veteran backup that wont have JP looking over his shoulder after every bad throw. I also think the Bills should invest a 4th round pick into a rookie QB to be groomed to be Losman's future backup. A guy like David Greene, Stephen LaFors or Jason White.

Cant blame them...Patriots fans came here and told us that Bledsoe would kill us and we didnt believe them. We thought he could still do it. Sure, he'd tease us now and then with decent play, but in the end they were right. When Bledsoe shuffles off to Dallas, we can have a similiar smug attitude when he drives their fans crazy.

Phew...for awhile I was wondering if Rudy was off the cough syrup...thank the Lord it was just a false alarm.

TD didnt release Thurman, Bruce and Andre, that was a year before he got here. That was all Butler's doing.
