How about Freddie Jones or Wiggins as our TE upgrade? Either one of those two would be great.

Reggie Brown has some serious talent...and I can safely say that if he makes it to the Bills 2nd round draft pick, I'd love it if we drafted him since he'd be one of the best talent-wise players still available. Honestly, I'll be happy if we draft anything other than a RB with our first pick.

If Pat Williams re-signs, why do we go with a DT in this year's Draft with Anderson drafted last year and Ron Edwards still under contract? Not to mention Bannan and Sape still hanging around. The only way the Bills go the DT route in the Draft is if Phat Pat decides to leave. I do agree on the Bills taking a DB on the first day though, it wouldnt surprise me if that was our pick in the 2nd round since CB is pretty deep in this year's draft. My best guess now is either a CB or another O-Lineman for depth in the 2nd round.

Dont laugh at Akili...I felt that he was totally unprepared for the NFL when he was thrown into the fire his first year, but the kid has talent. I wouldnt be surprised at all if he lands on an NFL team after his NFL Europe stint.

Funny thing about that game was that during the trip in, all of the Tulane fans on the train said it was IMPOSSIBLE for them to lose to lowly East Carolina. East Carolina beat them with like 15 seconds left...no matter where I go, when obnoxious fans get shut up, I always have to smile.

Didnt the Bills prove that you can have a good run blocking O-Line but have that same O-Line be terrible at pass blocking? And I actually went to the Tulane vs East Carolina game this year back in October and Tualne's O-Line was downright pathetic. Now I dont know how much of that O-line that crapped out in that game was the same for Losman over the last 2 years, but trust me...Tulane's O-Line in that game easily counts for being "poor".

Definitely not Week One, we dont need to see JP thrown against the best team of the last decade. Luckily for us, the Patriots will probably get that Thursday opener game against a playoff team or something. Best case scenarios for the home opener: Home against Dolphins, Jets or Texans, Away against Raiders, Bengals or Saints. As for the Pats, I'd like them as late in the season as possible so Losman can get adjusted.

Losman definitely knows what its like to get the crapped kicked out of him because of the lack of an O-Line...lets hope his college experience doesnt repeat in Buffalo.

I'd do the Shelton/Henry trade...especially if we lose out on Jonas. Although I'm not totally sure on Shelton's contract, anyone know the cap numbers?

As has been stated, Big Mike's contract isnt THAT bad. We'll still have plenty of wiggle room. If I were GM: 1) Re-sign Pat Williams 2) Trade Travis for LJ Shelton (to replace Jonas) 3) Sign Mike Wahle (our only big name FA move) 4) Sign Dane Looker or Alex Bannister (3rd WR...they both are cheap) 5) Sign either Buckhalter or Zereoue (Buck is better, but Amos is cheaper and more familiar with Mularkey's system) 6) Sign Freddie Jones (a player who has been amazingly improperly used over the last few years And thats really it for free agency...one big free agent and then a bunch of depth players who have potential. Then in the Draft, hopefully get a 3rd CB, a 3rd QB and more O-Line depth. Hopefully a new kicker too, but thats just my own pipe dream

The only way we get Hovan is if Pat Williams leaves, and then I'd be pissed because we let Phat Pat go in the first place. Bubba Franks is getting franchised, so that wont happen. I'm with you on Mike Whale though...but lets remember we do have that salary cap thing in the NFL, we cant just sign everyone so patience will be key.

Diem played all over the Colts O-Line, they plugged him at at LT when Tarik Glenn went down last year with his knee injury. And I was VERY impressed with him, he looked dominant at times this season. You could definitely see what he meant to the Colts when he went down in that playoff game and the Colts O-Line crumbled without him. I'd definitely take him.

Nah, this is just TD...he always seems to wait until a few days prior to the beginning of free agency to re-sign his players.
