A lot of them have Nugent going to the Vikings in the 2nd round, a few picks before ours.

Whooohoo! This thread gave me an excuse to look up mock drafts on the internet. Anyways, here are some of the 2nd round selections that I gathered from a few sources over the last 15 minutes... Marcus Johnson, OT/OG from Ole Miss: KFFL Logan Mankins, OT/OG from Fresno State: KFFL Luis Castillo, DT from Northwestern: KFFL Michael Munoz, OT from Tennessee: KFFL Mike Patterson, DT from USC: KFFL Mike Patterson, DT from USC: KFFL Chris Spencer, C from Ole' Miss: NFLDraftCountdown.com Kevin Everett, TE from Miami (Fla): DraftShowcase.com Chris Kemoeatu, OG from Utah: NFLFans.com Marcus Johnson, OT/OG from Ole' Miss: Draftboardinsider.com Atiyyah Ellison, DT from Missouri: Football.com Khalif Barnes, OT from Washington: Football.com CJ Mosley, DT from Missouri: ProFootballDraft.com Adam Terry, OT from Syracuse: ProFootballDraft.com Michael Munoz, OT from Tennessee: GBNreport.com Bryant McFadden, CB from Florida State: Rob's Scouting.com Bryant McFadden, CB from Florida State: DraftStudio.com David Baas, OG/OC from Michigan: TheHuddleReport.com And the Huddle Report actually had a 7 rounder up, and I can safely say that I would absolutely cream myself if we managed to pull this draft off: The Huddle Report Full Draft: Buffalo Bills 55 OC David Baas Michigan 86 OT Wesley Britt Alabama 116 S Jamaal Brimmer UNLV 147 WR Charles Frederick Washington 182 DE Tyler King Connecticut 213 CB Derrick Johnson Washington

our new 3rd WR? Eddie Berlin?
BillsGuyInMalta replied to JP-era's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I do see the Bills taking a WR in the Draft though...but I agree, it wont be until Day Two. Might even be in the 7th round...just another body to add to the 4th WR competition. -
Isn't there a crow hunt in Auburn, NY?
-
Where was Drew for 90% of that Jets game? Definitely not leading our offense, thats for sure. At least with Losman in that game that BF mentioned, Losman managed to put up 2 other TDs BEFORE he went on his hot streak.
-
The ONLY way the Bills get Vinateiri is if the Patriots front office has a serious brain fart and forgets the file the papers before Tuesday.

I'm beginning to think the same thing. If we had more cap money to play around with, then sure I could see us bringing someone in. But considering our entire FA pool will probably be dried up after signing a guard, backup QB and either a kicker or a backup RB...I just dont see the Bills snagging a FA WR when Reed is still hanging around. He gets one last shot to be the slot guy, and the 4th WR spot can go to Aiken, Fast Freddie, or a drafted WR. -
Somehow, I cant imagine Drew Bledsoe busting a move with a Hawaiian hula dancer.

This off season should be the greatest in years!

Or the Raiders...thats who I have my money on. -

Why would Mason want to come here? Lets see, he'd be giving up being a #1 WR in Tenn for a #3 WR spot with Buffalo? And for probably a lot less money he could get from some WR-desperate team? What about a backup QB? What about a backup RB? Or a Kicker? What if Pat Williams doesnt re-sign, that means we need another DT. We do have some issues to address... -
Here's an interesting LG option....

What we are "under the cap" is debatable. I've heard everything from 14 million dollars under to 8 million under. Usuaully ESPN releases what every team is under at the beginning of free agency, and that is the most accurate. Until then, who really knows? As much as I dig clumpy, he doesnt have all of the information that is available...I'll wait to see what comes out from the news agencies. -
That would be the 22nd, so Tuesday. So says NFL.com February 22 -- Deadline for clubs to designate franchise and transition players.

That is why I'd rather see us trade for Shelton to replace Jennings and then sign a FA upgrade at Guard (a guy like Wahle, or his teammate Rivera would be great). Then look for even more depth in the Draft. Honestly, I only see the Bills getting a starting guard, backup RB and backup QB in free agency. Maybe a kicker too. -
It doesnt make any sense why they wouldnt...it may be just a pipe dream. Although what I am hoping is that we see an upgrade at kicker this year.
-
I will seriously crap my pants if the Bills managed to get Vinateiri. Everyone knows I'm a big Nugent fan, but getting Vinateiri would make life so sweet. I doubt it happens though, I heard that he's a lock to be re-signed or franchised by the Patriots by Tuesday.

Wahle has great popularity around here...a lot of people want him. -
Thats a pretty...LOW estimate for some people around here. Why not ALL of Arizona's draft picks this year for Travis? Come on man, think outside of the box.
-
Why would we want that wife beater on this team? That guy is a scumbag Thats not too shocking though, they are something like 27 million dollars over the cap. I'll take Fred Miller though...he's started every game for the last 4 years for the Titans at RT. I'd rather have him at RT and move Big Mike to LG...a position that will actually take advantage of his chunky butt. An O-Line of: Shelton, Williams, Teague, Villarial and Miller would be fine and dandy with me.

And for reference, there is one, slightly hidden area that you need to control during the gang warfare that you can barely see on the map. Its owned by the Vagos gang, and its a thin strip in front of a convience store, near the motel where you and your brother escape from in an earlier mission. I went crazy, wondering why I was only at 99% areas controlled until I managed to get that last piece by squinting my eyes at the map and finally seeing a small strip of gang turf that I hadnt taken control of yet. Good news is that when you get all the territory under your control, the "gang attacks" on your turf ends, so you can cruise around in peace.

Are the Bills looking at Buckhalter?
BillsGuyInMalta replied to realtruelove's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really like Chris Henry myself, but depending on how well he does at the Combine, he might not be around by our pick in the 3rd. I do think taking a WR in the Draft would be an interesting option, since that seems pretty deep again this year in terms of overall talent. Thats why I kind of just laugh when I see a mock draft that has the Bills taking a D-Lineman with their 2nd rounder. -

I think Amos is the best bet out of all of them to become a Buffalo Bill next season. Zereoue is familiar with (and succesful in) Mularkey's system and was drafted by TD. -
Shelton, Free Agency, Draft, etc
BillsGuyInMalta replied to Buffalo Wing's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just dont see them taking a DT with Anderson and Edwards as backups. That would mean that whatever DT we select will be (at the highest) 5th or (at the lowest) 7th on the depth chart. DT can wait. -
If this trade goes down, its player for player with NO draft picks involved. I think the Cards should be happy to get a player like Travis Henry since their other options are pretty bad right now. Rudi Johnson is franchised, Edge is going to be, and Shaun Alexander might as well just get his bags packed and shipped to Philly. So the Cards will be fighting with teams like Oakland, San Francisco, Miami, Tampa Bay, etc for the services of...Lamont Jordan. Whoopee!
