  1. What do you expect him to say? Even though I'm a Cowboy, I'm still a Buffalo Bill at heart? Please...
  2. Thats what being an NFL fan is all about...talking up the guys you got, and bad-mouthing those who leave you. People have got to stop acting like this is specific to the Buffalo Bills...the other 31 teams' fans do the exact same thing. If you dont want to be a part of it (I myself consider it beneath me to insult a guy already out the door) then just dont post anything about it or take offense when other people do it. Its the way it goes. Let people vent any way they want to, it doesnt bother me if people slam Bledsoe now that he's a Cowboy, its their choice.
  3. "Oooooooooooo and Drew fumbles the microphone!"
  4. I just did a little research (amazing how much free time I've had lately...what with being an unemployed college student on the fast track to being an unemployed 20-something) about the UFA guards on the free agent market this offseason. I've included their total number of games played in, games started throughout their careers and games started last season. The only stipulation I had was that the player had to have started at least 10 games last season. I included Mike Wahle since he is slated to be cut. They are all damn fine upgrades over Tucker, so rate them in order of who'd you MOST like to see as a Bill (starting with 1) to who'd you least like to see (ending at 12). G = Games, GS = Games Started. Bennie Anderson, Baltimore Ravens (4 year career, G: 63 GS: 56) GS in 2004: 12 Joe Andruzzi, New England Patriots (8 year career, G: 95, GS: 76) GS in 2004: 16 Cosey Coleman, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5 year career, G: 71 GS: 63) GS in 2004: 16 Rick DeMulling, Indianapolis Colts (4 year career, G: 48 GS: 41) GS in 2004: 11 David Dixon, Minnesota Vikings (11 year career, G: 152, GS: 134) GS in 2004: 16 Roberto Garza, Atlanta Falcons (4 year career, G: 52, GS: 31) GS in 2004: 15 Chris Gray, Seattle Seahawks (12 year career, G: 161, GS: 123) GS in 2004: 16 Ben Hamilton, Denver Broncos (4 year career, G: 48, GS: 48) GS in 2004: 16 Jermane Mayberry, Philadelphia Eagles (9 year career, G: 112, GS: 96) GS in 2004: 12 Marco Rivera, Green Bay Packers (9 year career, G: 125, GS: 111) GS in 2004: 16 Keydrick Vincent, Pittsburgh Steelers (4 year career, G: 38, GS: 27) GS in 2004: 16 Mike Wahle, Green Bay Packers (7 year career, G: 97, GS: 83) GS in 2004: 16 My order is: 1) Rivera 2) Wahle 3) Hamilton 4) Andruzzi 5) Mayberry 6) Dixon 7) Coleman 8) DeMulling 9) Vincent 10) Gray 11) Anderson 12) Garza So as you can see, we have a large group of VERY talented NFL Guards available to us if TD wants to upgrade.
  5. Oh sure...I mention having sexual intercourse with Norwegian prostitutes in the back alley of a supermarket, and now I'M the weirdo... Wait...I've said too much...
  6. I thought you werent going to start 100 threads about this... I dont know WHAT to trust now...my fragile view on the world was crushed........thats it, I'm going to committing mental suicide...I wonder if American Idol is still on
  7. Wiley and Holliday blow worse than Norwegian prostitutes...we dont need them. And we ALL know how bad Norwegian prostitutes are.....
  8. I hate when I see mock drafts have us do that...and people try to justify it by saying "Well, if they lose Pat Williams...". Uhhh...hello? Ron Edwards is still on this team, and we DID draft a DT on the first day last year who was widely regarded as the heart and soul of a very good Ohio State run defense. Sheesh people, at least LOOk at the roster before you make an assumption.
  9. Didnt this guy bomb really badly the last few years? Like, worse than Josh Reed? I'm willing to let Reed have one last crack at the 3rd WR spot...I'd at least see what he can do with Losman chucking him the ball before I'm ready to drop the axe on him just yet.
  10. In terms of our O-Line, I'd do the following: Trade for Shelton Sign a free agent guard...and there are oodles to choose from Draft a center with our 2nd round draft pick. Thats a heck of a lot of work on our O-Line this offseason, but it needs to be done. I'm beginning to think our draft order should be O-Lineman (2nd), RB (3rd), QB (4th), WR (5th), CB (6th) and maybe another fatty DT in the 7th.
  11. Who didnt see this coming? I hope TD still plans to upgrade our team at kicker because Lindell is going to lose us some big games next season if he still is our kicker.
  12. Yeah I agree...I think that has to be more than a one year deal, just to get some consistency with our backup QB spot. Thats why I like drafting a QB in the 4th/5th round as well to develop into Losman's long-term backup. Give him 1-2 years as the 3rd stringer, and then let him finish out his deal as the backup and see how he does. This is a pretty weak QB class in terms of starting material, but I see a lot of potentially solid NFL backups in this year's draft.
  13. Maurice Clarrett = one of the most underprepared college players to hit the NFL since Ryan Leaf or Cade McNown. I almost want to see a team like the Bengals or Browns draft him so Ray Lewis & Company can tee off on him twice a year.
  14. I agree, none of those selections would be any good. What you need is a veteran who can get the job done when called upon, but who wont force Losman to look over his shoulder and ruin his progression. Guys like Shane Matthews, Kordell Stewart, Jim Miller, etc would be ideal since they all have experience but arent in any position to take Losman's job away from him. I also like the idea of drafting a QB in the 4th or 5th round to groom as JP's long-term backup. A guy like David Greene, Stephen LaFors or Jason White (who I think is going to be a very good backup in the NFL for some team) would be great.
  15. Unless the Bills get a top 10 pick, he's not getting Williams. I'm willing to bet that Williams gets taken by the Bears or, at the very latest, is gone by the #9 pick to the Redskins. The Bills would have to give up an amazing amount of draft picks to move up into the 1st round without having a 1st rounder in 2005 to play with.
  16. The Lions and The Cards both dont want to have anything to do with Drew...all he needs is the Niners to reject him before we have to put him on a suicide watch.
  17. Very nice, getting Shelton in here is a good way to help solidify the O-Line. Lets remember that this kid has ALL the physical tools to perform well in the NFL, he just needs a good coach. And no disrespect to the Cards fans, but "good coaching" and "Arizona Cards" havent gone together in 50 years. I think he's going to make a fine addition to the Bills. Now lets go out and get a FA guard to play at LG and I'll be fine and dandy.
  18. Vinateiri was, and still is, a pipe dream. What I think the significance of that report that came out a few days ago with the Bills looking to make him their "#1 priority free agent" simply meant that TD is looking for a huge upgrade at kicker. I dont blame him. Getting Vandy in here, with all of his drunken Canadian goodness might be a gamble though, considering he is used to kicking indoors.
  19. I'd let Jonas go, trade for Shelton and sign a FA guard. Then, draft the best center available in the 2nd round to give further depth to our O-Line
  20. Its worth a shot to at least OFFER him something.
  21. I'm beginning to think TD is going to let both Phat Pat and Jonas go...
  22. While I dont see Vinateiri making it to free agency (the Patriots will either franchise him by tomorrow or re-sign him before March 2nd...I cannot fathom why they'd let him go), this is a very good sign for the offseason. Its clear that TD wants to upgrade at kicker, which means we wont have to suffer through another season of Lindell botching 27 yarders. All that matters to me is getting a weapon at the kicking position, and clearly TD wants to go that route.
  23. Larry Centers, Sam Gash and Dave Moore were all pretty solid for us. I mean, Centers and Gash both made the Pro Bowl with us, I'd hardly consider them washed-up or second rate when they had our uniform on. The only player who bombed out of that list is Drew, and even he made the Pro Bowl one season with us!
  24. Wow, the Redskins were really bright with all of those FAs moves, werent they?
