The only negative thing I ever heard about Joe J was that he was slow to pick up the game when he first came into the NFL. He really came on the last few years though.

No doubt, I remember him playing for Syracuse right when I started to become a fan of theirs. I just dont think he'd be a very good addition to the Bills.

Out of curiosity, has anyone thought about Itula Milli from Seattle? He has flashed some great skills over the years, he's just been plucked in and out of the starting lineup by Holmgren for the last few years so he hasnt gotten into his groove yet. Could be a steal.

How about Marion Barber III in, ironically, the 3rd round? I really liked him playing at Minnesota, the kid has some talent. I like KayJay Harris a lot as well, being 6'2 as a running back is always helpful.

Guy's got a lot of heart, I'll say that for him. Not sure if I'd be willing to dish out the cash for a 3rd WR until we can actually get a replacement for Jonas, a new LG and a TE upgrade already on roster. So, if by the end of this week we have Shelton, Vincent and Mili signed...then sure, bring on Joey J.

Yeah I agree with Astro, I'm not worried about DT at all. We've got some good talent already on roster, plus its not like we dont still have our Pro Bowl DT starting for us. Edwards or Anderson will come up big, I really believe that.

PLEASE dont tell me you are basing your judgement on that article where ESPN is guessing what teams would be INTERESTED in potential free agents... There is a huge difference between being interested in free agents and actually signing them. If the Jets come away with 5 new FA starters and the Bills only can sign a backup long snapper, then you have the right to complain. But getting all paranoid the day before free agency even starts is just plain crazy.

There is NO way that a team could sign all of the people that they are listed as "potentially interested" in. This is just ESPN guessing where free agents could land. No backing to this.

One of my roommates is a Raiders fan and Middleton has earned the name "Box Ass" around the townhouse. Still though, a very good Guard when healthy... This makes me think that TD will wait on signing a Guard, since there is an obscene amount of good ones on the market. I bet we sign a TE early tomorrow though, just because that market is going to run dry very quickly. My guess is Wiggins.

You might be thinking about Clinton Portis, who's rivarly with McGahee has been well documented. Apparently Portis really damaged McGahee's self-confidence with his constant complaining and put-downs towards Willis, saying that McGahee will never be better than he is. I was reading this book on the University of Miami and apparently Clinton Portis was one of the most disliked Hurricanes to ever enroll there (and since they specialize in arrogant idiots, you know he must have been REALLY annoying).
