  1. Oooboy, it didnt take long did it?
  2. Nah, it wasnt about the $$$$$$$$$
  3. Keeping Henry at this point would be insane...he doesnt want to be here, he'd waste money on our cap, and there are 5 potential teams after him. Even if its for less than what we'd like, he'll easily be shipped out of here in a month. Maybe by this weekend.
  4. Sheesh...how do we know that TD is not in negotiations with any of the top Guards as we speak? Andruzzi was not mentioned heavily on this board as a potential FA (in comparison to other guards mentioned, I think I heard Andruzzi mentioned once), so we shouldnt get all bent out of shape with him throwing his career down the toilet (no pun intended) with the Browns. I'm sure TD has a list of guys he wants, and is actively going after them as we speak. It sucks waiting, but its not like TD is playing video games all day.
  5. Oh if we just had to sign a starting guard and a few other backups, I'd be content with 6-8 million dollars under. Problem is we now have to worry about a starting LT, the most expensive position on the line. I still got my fingers crossed that Shelton comes to Buffalo, he'd let us go out and get those positions you mentioned.
  6. I'll take any one of those Guards. What a huge upgrade any one of them would be. Also, I didnt know that Victor Riley was a FA...he's pretty damn good for an OT.
  7. I dont think Jonas had a secondary...its all about the green for him.
  8. Think of it this way...if there are 5 teams that need a RB, one of them is going to be screwed by Draft Day. Team One: Lamont Jordon (the only decent FA RB) Team Two: Benson Team Three: Brown Team Four: Williams Team Five: Screwed beyond belief I'm not worried about moving Henry at all, I just hope that TD can spice up the deal and we can land Shelton.
  9. Hey, Rashad Baker people! Believe in the Vol . And Pierson is as good as gone...give it a few days.
  10. Not that I mind a lack of free agent moves on the first day, but I have to admit I'm wondering if we'll have enough money to sign anyone in free agency. The cap keeps getting smaller and smaller for us, and we have two glaring holes on our O-Line. 6 million is not nearly enough to sign two offensive line starters (one of them being a LT) and then have enough money left over for the draft signings.
  11. In other words, Jonas fugged them! Couldnt happen to a better organization. Still though, whoever gets Jonas will easily overpay for him...5 million bucks for Jonas? He's all yours, Niners.
  12. We have so little money to actually spend on free agents, do you all think we should waste our time with a DT when we already have Edwards and Anderson ready and willing to step up? O-Line is the priority...we NEED to focus the little cap space we do to making sure JP spends more of his time this year on a vertical base.
  13. There ya go Jennings, way to end your career with a flop. I give him 3 years in San Fran before he's cut loose and fades out of the NFL. San Francisco went from being one of the best run organizations in the NFL to one of the worst in a manner of 5 years. Things wont getter better by the bay for a long time.
  14. It may be an O-Lineman from the Steelers, but you picked the wrong one
  15. Just thinking aloud here...if we trade Henry for Shelton, and release Pierson, then the cap hit is essentially a wash. Shelton I believe is a 3 million dollar hit and Henry + Pierson = 3 million dollars as well. So now our O-Line would be Shelton, ?, Teague, Villarial, Williams. Not bad. We can then use the extra 3 million we got (putting away 3 million for the Draft) to sign a quality LG like Vincent and a backup QB. Then our O-Line looks like Shelton, Vincent, Teague, Villarial, Williams. Even better, and we still have money to sign our draft picks. In the draft we can nab a backup RB, a WR to compete for the 3rd WR spot and some more O-Line depth. I'd be content with that.
  16. I'd definitely say goodbye to Pierson, we need that cap space. I really wish that the trade with Henry and Shelton would go through...at least then we have a cheap LT to work with and then can spend whatever cash we got left for a LG.
  17. Thats amazingly pathetic for a cap number. That definitely wont be enough to sign a LT and a LG, so I have no idea how TD is going to upgrade this offseason. If we can get Mike Williams to lower that contract and cut Pierson we'd be in great shape...sad to say it, but I dont think the Bills are going to do much of anything this offseason. Come on Big Mike...5 million for 2005 is still waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than you are worth.
  18. Problem is, Florio admits that he makes up 95% of his stories, so its not a credible news source at all. You're right though, I still go to that site for the links to other team's message boards...thats about all its good for though.
  19. Hey, I didnt hear that Modrak got cut too
  20. We need to keep Rudy on a suicide watch today. Yeah though, the Jets are real bright to waste all of their money on two players...totally ignoring their secondary. Especially since everyone in the media understands that Jonas' value is inflated due to the piss-poor Tackles available in free agency. Oh, and also because the last Bills FA they picked up did so well for them, and TD was an idiot for signing that London Fletcher loser to replace him...
  21. Why are you Mr. Pink? "Because you're a f*ggot, ok?" Best...Movie...Ever...
  22. If Teague moves to LT, then we'd have to sign a center. Luckily, Rabach or Hamilton would fit nicely. I also think signing a guard and center is cheaper then signing a guard and left tackle.
  23. He's definitely a RT though...we'd have to move Big Mike to LT if we wanted that to happen.
  24. I just cant believe that Pat Williams and Jonas Jennings think they are worth 5 million dollars per year. Whatever team forks over that much cash to those two need to have their GM's head examined.
