    I think thats old news...the Cards, when they first started whoring off Shelton, demanded a 2nd rounder, and the best offer they have at this point was a 2nd DAY pick from the Bears. The Sirius report was this morning, so I'm assuming they wouldnt report old news.

    He was a pipe dream...dont worry, if it was one position that the offseason was deep at, it was Guard. I'm still big on Vincent, I think he'll be a great Guard for years to come. And lets remember, he handled our DTs in that last game against Pittsburgh...not an easy thing to do.

    You guys deserve so much better than McCombs and Tice. Tice reminds me of a high school gym coach...I have no idea how he got to be an NFL head coach.

    What this shows me is that clearly Dennis Green does not want to gamble on getting one of the top 3 draft RBs, and was willing to try and get Bennett free from Minnesota. If he just felt that the Cards could wait for the draft, he wouldnt have made a play for Bennett. Hopefully Arizona will lower their demands and we can land Shelton.

    Apparently I missed it, but on Sirius Radio this morning they said that the Henry for Shelton deal is still alive, but the Cards are now demanding a draft pick as well as Henry for Shelton. Found this on a few other Bills sites.

    I think Vincent is someone that TD is working hard to get. He played very well this year and could easily transition into Mularkey's system. Hes the type of FA who I think the Bills will target this offseason...no megastars, just good, solid players.

    I disagree, past our O-Line, kicker is the most important area of upgrade. If we go into next season with Lindell, we will lose more games because of his inability to kick consistently. Honestly, if we could just bring in a veteran to compete in training camp, I'd be content. But we cant let Lindell have the job by default.

    It all depends on what we do with the rest of the offseason. If we manage to get an LT and LG, then I say we should definitely pick up Nugent if he's there in the 2nd round. However, I'm guessing the best we can do is pick up a Tackle, so what we may have to do is draft a guard in the 2nd round to compete with Tucker.

    Wouldnt surprise me if TD is hard at work trying to give up some more cap space. That would probably be why no FAs have been mentioned. He's being patient.

    Oh I'm cool as the other side of the pillow...just very concerned because Henry was our best card to get Shelton with. That coupled with our ever-shrinking salary cap makes me think poor JP is going to be running for his life.

    We need an LT...and he's the best option because he comes so cheap. I dont know what TD is going to do now. At this point, I'm willing to give up a 3rd rounder for Shelton. We could probably get that 3rd rounder back anyways by trading Travis to another team.
