I really like Stephen LaFors in the 4th or 5th round. He can develop behind Losman and Holcombe and give us some great depth for the future. Apparently the kid has some brains too, according to this.

If we can get Shelton, then I'd relax for the rest of the offseason. When the Draft rolls around, I'd love to see the Bills take an O-Lineman in the 2nd round. For depth and to push the starters.

Pretty easily...if you just see 6520000, you can easily forget a zero and change the number completely. Trust me, we cant be in worse shape than the Raiders, it is physically impossible. That and I checked CBSportsline and AskTheCommish and both of them updated their cap pages on the 1st and 2nd and both have the Bills at 6-8 million under.

I have no problem bringing him back at a lower price, I'm not angry at his play...its just that a 1.6 million dollar cap hit is outrageous for a backup safety. Anyone else wish that Donahoe would update the fans on what the situation is with the Bills in the offseason? Like, how much money we officially have under the cap, the positions we are looking to fill and the status of the Henry/Shelton trade.

Honestly, if we can pull off the Shelton deal now and then draft an O-Lineman with our 2nd rounder, we'd be in decent shape. Oh and also cut Wire and Pierson...no need to have their dead weight hanging around.

His cap hit would kill us...the money we save, if there is any, would be so small there would no point in cutting him. If you thought things were bad now in terms of the salary cap, cutting Williams would make things even worse and leave us 3 open holes on our O-Line.
