  1. I'd give up one of our later round picks for him...I think the highest I'd go is a 4th rounder though, definitely nothing on Day One.
  2. Great minds think alike Rich... I really want the Bills to draft either Wilkerson or Spencer, depending on who grades the best in the weeks prior to the Draft since I really believe that both will be around for us when we pick at #55. And our 3rd rounder should also be spent on O-Line...Guard...Tackle...whatever, as long as we get the best O-Lineman available in the 3rd.
  3. I get the impression there is going to be a lot of angry posts here in a couple of days when Demulling signs with the Lions.
  4. Sadly, our best Guard option being DeMulling will sign with Detroit because we have no money to spend. Friggin Pro Bowl surge for Clements...Ugh. I'm very concerned over our O-Line this offseason...DeMulling will choose the money over the chance to play for us (I dont blame him) and we'll more than likely have a rookie starting on that O-Line. Scary.
  5. Ah I was looking for an entire section on it...honestly, I dont think its going to happen though. If this was in such danger of happening, I think you'd see a lot more panic from the NFL teams because essentially you'd have 5 teams cleaning up and the other 27 owners left without any shot. I really dont think it will happen. The NFL is thankfully not the NHL...they'll get their act together and extend it easily in the next 2 years.
  6. Can you point me in the direction where he says that in his article? I read his Tip Sheet and cant seem to find it.
  7. Did he fall on his water bottle and hurt himself?
  8. Aside from the owner of ProFootballTalk.com, who is the proof that brothers and sister should never marry each other, I've heard no talk on this at all except for a report from ESPN a few months ago where they said that the "uncapped year" has almost no chance of happening due to both sides looking to avoid a MLB system, even for a year. Let Florio have his fun, because there will be a cap in 2007.
  9. I feel the need to sit Donahoe down and smack him upside the head with a dead fish. Get what you can for Travis!
  10. Lions will get him...they've put a great record together the last few years of overpaying for players.
  11. I agree...we arent going to get any player in the 3rd round who is as good as Shelton, so just ship our 3rd rounder to get Shelton, use the 2nd rounder on a center and then sign DeMulling/Womack/Other O-Lineman to round it out and we got ourselves a rebuilt and damn solid O-Line.
  12. 3 million bucks a year for DeMulling? Wow, thats insane...well, hopefully he'll lower his price and sign with us in a few days. He is easily the best Guard on the market.
  13. Should I go to my last class, a 4pm Earth Science lecture, or just blow it off and get back to my apartment to watch Simpsons reruns?
  14. I'll take San Francisco
  15. I'm guessing its during the Draft as well...some team will panic once Brown, Benson and Williams are off the board, and we'll get a call.
  16. Let the fighting for the rights of JP-Era begin!
  17. Damn, I really liked Mili...ah well...hopefully TD is saving that money to get DeMulling or Womack or Shelton.
  18. All Time: Frank Reich Right Now: London Fletcher
  19. Somewhere...Lawrence Phillips makes ends meet.
  20. You know I let everyone have their fun...I dont hate.
  21. That Shelton deal is not going to happen. I was holding out hope as well, but its clear at this point, with the Cards attempting to make a trade for Michael Bennett last week, that they have no interest in Travis Henry anymore. So unless TD gives up a 3rd rounder, Shelton will be shipped off to another city.
  22. I dont get people who want Travis around another year. All he did was complain this year and was a totally waste whenever he did see any action. I'd trade him for anything at this moment, get a 1.5 million dollar cap relief in the process, and draft a RB to replace him. If Travis wasnt going to grow up last year with McGahee, what makes everyone think he'll gladly back him up this season? Trade him for a stapler and move on.
  23. See, the problem here is that the O-Line isnt like musical chairs. You cant just say "Mike Williams is a tackle, so clearly he can play LT". Mike Williams has always been a RT, all the way back to college. You want to plug his plodding self at JP's blindspot? Teams cannot just mix and match O-Lineman and think that there wont be a problem. Now, if we want Womack to play tackle, he'd have to be our LT because Big Mike cant do it. That being said, Womack at least has experience at LT, I give him that. I think I'd be content if we could sign DeMulling and Womack, set DeMulling at LG and then have a training camp battle between Womack and Gandy to see who wins the LT spot. And I'd still draft a Center and Tackle with our first two picks to further solidify our O-Line.
