Somewhat off-topic, Mel Kilper just said on the same ESPN Draft Preview that he expects Buffalo to be one of the teams willing to take a chance on WR Chase Lyman out of California. I'm not real up to speed with him, I'll have to find out what his deal is.

On that ESPN Draft Preview on today, they all agreed that Tampa Bay would be wise to trade for Travis Henry, because then it would enable them to draft a QB or WR with that #5 instead of being forced to use that pick on a drafted RB.

Jammal Brown is projected as the #2 Tackle in the entire Draft...would make an excellent addition to the Bills...but as Kelly and Jokeman said, we'd definitely have to do a huge tradeup into Round One to get him. He could potentially be gone by pick #20.

Jason Brown will probably be there in the 3rd when we get to pick...Baas, Spencer and Wilkerson are usually rated above him in most mocks.

Oh with that particular draft, I'd be very happy if that mock occured because I dont believe that Baas will be around by the time we pick. The only way we get Baas is if we trade up. What I'm saying is that I've seen some other mocks that have Mosley being our pick, just in the 2nd round (unlike this one, which says 3rd round). As a 2nd rounder, I think we can do better...but as a 3rd rounder, Mosley would be fine in my books.

I'm not that big fan of Mosley...as a 3rd rounder, that would be fine and dandy. But I have a serious problem with drafts that have us taking him in the 2nd round.

The problem they are going to face is that the NHL "adopted" the trophy as their own many years ago. While it ORIGINALLY was intended to be for the best hockey team in the land, its become NHL property since then. A shame, but I think the NHL wins this one and screws over us hockey fans.

Not saying that at all...I'm actually quite content that we pulled the Texans in the opening week. In fact, I think the reason we got the Texans was because of the general lack of interest in the game if it were scheduled for say, in the middle of the season. At least now, it'll be interesting because it will be Losman's first crack at being a starter.
