The thing that makes me feel confident in McGee is that he has consistently shown progress. The kid is learning how to play the position in the NFL (lets remember that he didnt even come from a IA college) and I'm impressed with how fast he's gotten the hang of it. He did get burned a lot last year, but he also held his ground and made some nice plays. I think a lot of other NFL teams would be very happy with him as a #2 CB.

Damn spiffy, Romero's new one looks really good to me. In fact, just last night I decided to re-watch the previous movies in the series (Night, Dawn and Day) in order to get myself pumped for Land of the Dead.

Personally, I'd like to see Verba in here because I view him as a huge upgrade to Gandy. However, 35 million dollars is simply insane...the only team willing to give him that money would be the Redskins who overpay for everyone. But I guarantee you that when Verba signs with another team, we'll still get people here crying and whining that the Bills could have easily got him.

So they actually managed to find a few Dolphin fans after last season's flop to make a commercial huh? Diehard Dolphin fans are about as rare as actual Arizona Cards fans. I still laugh when I see a majority of their stadium empty out at halftime.

Until the Patriots start losing games, they are still the top dog. All of this "Patriots are doomed" talk is the same stuff I've been hearing over the last 3 years. Lets knock them down off their perch before we bury them boys and girls. But I will say this...when the Patriots crash back to Earth, it will be sweet.

I love how people just look over Anderson and Edwards as if these guys are bums. TD addressed the DT situation LAST year on Day One, probably knowing full well that Pat Williams would be difficult to re-sign. And on top of that, Edwards played very well this year when they plugged him in. I'm very confident in our ability to overcome the loss of PW. Plus, we are returning 10 other starters on the Defense...was Pat Williams the heart and soul of this Defense? Nope...in fact, I think I'd put 4-5 guys ahead of him on that list. He was an excellent player, but we didnt draft Anderson to ride the pine his entire career, we obviously thought enough of him to draft him in the 3rd last year, so the kid must have some skills. We still need a LT though...*cough cough*

Uhm...we did bring him in for a visit...checked him out...and our coaches didnt like him. So why is there all of this concern? We gave it a shot, and our coaches obviously weren't satisfied with him. Dont you all think we should be trusting the coaches' opinions on this guy over our own? I mean, I think we all like to play Head Coach now and then, but none of us have any idea what we are talking about since we cant actually look at extensive film and medical history on a certain player. Our coaches didnt like him...so thats fine by me.

I dont think we are going to be better with the loss of those two, but I think Edwards/Anderson will basically grade out about equal on our D-Line. At least to the point where we wont notice any drop-off in the overall performance of our Defense as a unit. Losing Jennings is still a problem, considering we dont have a replacement.
