  1. I forgot about Clayton's comments. This marks...what? The 5th or 6th time Clayton has been dead wrong about the Bills this offseason?
  2. What I like most about this deal was that TD didnt let those Jags negotations throw him off. So the Jaguars were further along in negotiations with Henry's agent...big whoop. If they were both offering the same deal, TD was smart to take the pick from a team that could bottom out this year.
  3. Pro Football Talk claimed that the Bills would just release Travis and would never even get a 7th rounder after the Draft. They then spent a good week blasting TD for being greedy and not taking the 4th rounder when it was offered on the draft weekend. Whoops!
  4. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/stor..._len&id=2109498 Bills will get a 3rd rounder. The Jags DID offer a 3rd rounder as well...looks like TD figured that helping out the Jags + the likelyhood of the Titans crapping out this season made it more appealing to send him to the Titans. Makes sense...if both are offering the same deal, take the 3rd rounder from the team that might finish bottom 5 in the NFL.
  5. Just came back with a recap, said that Chris Mortensen is reporting Travis to the Titans, completed by Monday. Says Lenny P has confirmed the deal is done On Monday, the deal is announced...Bills get a 3rd rounder. Haha...it seems like Travis' agent wanted him to go to the Jags, but the Jags wouldnt pony up the draft pick so TD just sent him to the Titans, even without a long-term contract negotiation. I knew this was going to happen...The Jags were dicking around for too long with their reluctance to up their offer. You snooze, you lose.
  6. Thats sadly the market, it was a rough year to trade RBs. Heck, if the Colts and Seahawks couldnt even move Alexander or Edge for 2nd rounders, we should have known we couldnt swindle a 2nd rounder out of some team for Travis Henry. If only the Atlanta Falcons needed a RB...we could have gotten another first rounder from Hotlanta.
  7. I think they meant it more as in "Even though the Jags are further along with contract negotiations than the Titans, that wont handcuff the Bills to sending Travis JUST to the Jags". The whole point was whoever offered the best deal, got Travis...not whoever was further along in negotations. Sorry, I wanted to get the news out quickly and the wording was slightly messed up.
  8. Mortensen didnt come on, it was just whoever the ESPN Radio personality is at this time. He said that league sources confirmed to ESPN that the Bills will be sending Travis to the Titans for a 3rd rounder, regardless of any contract negotiations with the Jags. Said that the entire situation was very interesting, considering how close the Jags were. Said the deal would be made by Monday, or Tuesday by the latest. Also called for listeners to stay tuned, they'll have more on it.
  9. Travis to the Titans. Wow...they say it'll be done by Monday or Tuesday
  10. Thank god this might finally all be over
  11. So the Ravens couldnt find a suitable replacement for him during his 4 years as a starter? If he was that bad, dont you think they would have stopped the "experiment" during the first offseason? I've heard nothing but good things about Anderson being used on our O-Line and I think he'll do very well.
  12. Trading Henry WOULD free up 1.25 million dollars under the cap...innnnntteresting.
  13. Ahhh Sheldon Jackson and Bobby Collins...the TE tandem of averageness.
  14. Even though it seems like its just a summary of Del Rio's comments, the local paper in Jax seems to think its a done deal... http://jacksonville.com/sports/
  15. King of Queens...at least the worst show in recent memory.
  16. Lets see...the NHL has been doing everything it can to make sure the Rangers do well, despite their crappy play...and hey! Look at that...they have one of the best shots to get Crosby. So lets see, where would the NHL want Crosby to play, in order to bring more interest to the NHL again? Buffalo? Columbus? Pittsburgh? New York City? Hmmmmm...time for a throwback to my youth, but "one of these things is not like the other"
  17. Please...Thurman is a bum, plus his past problems with the law makes him a terrible human being. We'll be lucky to get a 4th rounder from the Seahawks.
  18. Where's Antowain Smith when you need him? Oh...thats right...doing light yardwork for me.
  19. Thats a hell of a trick to get Thurman out of retirement.
  20. Is it just me, or does Adam Jones look A LOT like Lil' John? http://wkrn.static.worldnow.com/images/3588065_BG3.jpg Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhhh!
  21. They did. Its called "Brain Drain" and is one of the funnier Bang cartoons out there.
  22. Oooooo, how exotic... Marcus Côte d'Ivoire.
  23. That just killed the last half an hour of my life
  24. Clayton has been hilariously wrong this entire offseason when it comes to the Bills. First he says the Bills will stick with Bledsoe...and a week later they cut him. Then he says the Bills have only 800K in cap space...and the Bills go out THAT DAY and sign Kelly Holcomb and Mike Gandy. Says that the Bills will definitely trade Travis Henry to the Cards for LJ Shelton and it was just "a matter of time"...and the Bills dont make the move. Says the Bills will go O-Line in the Draft...they take Roscoe Parrish. So by saying that the Bills will only get a 4th, that means we'll snag at least a 3rd rounder to prove the Nerd wrong...yet again.
  25. Great news...Sabres are going shopping in the next few months!
