Methinks we'll take a stab at Verba if Gandy struggles. Being the first week of practice, obviously everyone gets a break and hopefully they wont do any roster moves until after our first preseason game. But if Gandy struggles for the next two weeks and then flops in the Colts game...I think its time to place a call to Verba. But, I'm willing to bet he does improve in tomorrow's practice...lets remember that this is the most intense action ANY of our guys have seen since January...obviously they'll be adjustment time needed. I'm headed to camp tomorrow and I'm not really going to be looking at overall performance since I think its FAR too early to judge that, but I'll be looking at individual effort. After reading today's report, I'm going to pay a lot of attention to the competition between Roscoe and Josh...that sounds like a really fun show to watch.

I've heard nothing but good things about Preston. While I wouldnt be that happy with him starting as a rookie, I do think he is a future stud on our O-Line. Guy has some serious tenacity when it comes to pass and run blocking.

Its good to hear we got some competition going on at WR and RB. And hey JP struggling might be a blessing...if he came out looking fantastic in practice, the RJ comparisons would come rollin' in today. I'm especially glad to hear that our interior D-Line looked just as good as it did last year. I've been saying for the last few months that there wont be a noticeable drop-off with Pat Williams gone...I think Ron Edwards is going to really explode this season.

I'll be looking to see how JP acts around the other players. Its one thing to know what you are doing, its another thing to make your fellow players respect you and your leadership abilities.

The 3 games he played in last season dont exactly make me fear him. Plus he got almost no interest on the free agent market, injuries have really crippled him. Besides, wouldnt I be an improvement over Traveres Tillman?

Eh...we've dealt with him for years in the AFC East, not like we dont know what type of player he is.

I remember leaving the stadium that day and hearing 80,000 fans chanting Flutie's name...even though he later proved to be somewhat of a negative influence in the locker room, for that year FlutieMania was in full force.

Doug Flutie running it into the endzone on a busted play with a few seconds left to beat the Jags. And an underrated moment in Bills history, when we all worked off years of frustration when Rob Johnson came back as a Redskin and got sacked against our Defense two years ago. The crowd went abso-friggin crazy when ol' RJ disappeared under a swarm of blue jerseys. Neither moment as epic as our SB years...but damn, both were fun.

We are a mere step away from seeing Russert and Roberts at the home opener, shirts off with "Go Bills" painting on their nude chests as they chest-bump after every first down. What a sight it shall be.

I was about to say, thinking of the "worst drives" in Bills history, for some reason that Todd Collins-lead offense keeps popping up in my mind.

*sigh* This is probably how New England fans felt when they saw us get all excited over Bledsoe. I remember we were saying the exact same thing last year...a one-two punch with Henry and McGahee that would take the NFL by storm. Oh well, whatever makes the Titans sleep easier at night I suppose.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaay too low for McGee...That should be motivation enough for Terrence, someone needs to tell him that EA Sports thinks that Coy Wire is a better player than he is I usually change the rosters a bit when I get the game anyways. For example, I'll lower the ratings for Wire, Tucker, Everett, and Reed and raise the ratings for McGee, Shelton and maybe Edwards who seems a tad low.

Are you saying the Penguins terrible records over the last 3-4 years has all been a plan? A master-plan to screw the team over, piss off the fans, humiliate their franchise, threaten to move and financially dismantle the team just so they could prepare for the post-lockout NHL world? I'm not a Penguins hater by any means, and my comment was originally meant as a joke on the recent money problems the ol' Penguins have had. I'm glad they got Crosby over some of the other teams that were in the top 10, and they definitely need him. You should be downright joygasmic over Crosby. But dont go overboard there, it seems to me (and a majority of other observers) that the Penguins are years and years away from rebuilding their tarnished image. And come on...stupidest post ever? Around here? I think we just insulted a bunch of posters...
