  1. Good to hear. When I was in camp, what I was most impressed with in Losman was that every day he got a little bit better...I left thinking that he might impress a few doubters during the scrimmage...good to hear he's doing it.
  2. How did the Packers do against our starting D?
  3. Thanks! So I'm to assume JP is looking pretty good for his starting "debut"?
  4. Gah, what am I missing? How do our boys look?
  5. Hey guys, I need help with my homework...can any of you help me?
  6. Hopefully they'll be updates posted too for those of us stuck with Time Warner Cable and their inability to get the NFL Network.
  7. We've had good luck with big fat guys playing up to their potential with our current D-Line coach.
  8. Nope. Roscoe Parrish isnt ready (or big enough) to be a starting WR. He may eventually learn the tricks of the trade and work his way into the starting lineup with some experience (See: Steve Smith), but right now trading Moulds would really hurt Losman's progression. Having a veteran like him catching passes will make the JP Era get started a little more smoothly. IMHO, we could get Simon for our 2nd rounder and Josh Reed. They were willing to part with him for a 2nd and a 3rd rounder back in April, and now with Pinkston gone they need some help. Reed has talent, and may just need a change of scenery. I think it would be a good trade for both sides. Too bad it wont get done because Simon has outrageous contract demands.
  9. If our 3rd string Defense cant hang with Aaron Rodgers, the Bills might as well just fold up the season and move to LA. And its all Tom Donahoe's fault!
  10. By the way, apparently the Eagles were willing to do the deal at Draft time for a 2nd and 3rd rounder with the Ravens...I'd give that up for Simon.
  11. I would say a great Defense AND an average offense would have gotten us to the playoffs last year...too bad our Offense was "piss-poor" in that last game.
  12. Hunter was one of the bravest little guys on the planet...sympathy out to the Kelly family.
  13. Hopefully we can keep doing this with the Packers...both fan bases are almost identical in terms of passion and dedication towards their teams. A perfect match.
  14. I cant imagine what it would take to pry Simon free from the Eagles...I dont want to give up another first rounder, I really dont. I hate that idea. However, I would package our second and one of our thirds for Simon in a heart beat.
  15. According to the audio on the Packers website, it seemed like our boys really showed up on the final 7 on 7 drills.
  16. I havent seen it, but I assume they are talking about Kenny "The Snake" Stabler, famed wild-man QB for the Oakland Raiders. A true winner, but a little bit crazy.
  17. He was definitely in camp as of Monday.
  18. The Raiders might have the worst Defense in the NFL this year. On the flip side, they might have the best Offense. Luckily for us, I think our Defense can shut them down, meaning all we have to do is run, run, and run some more at their piss-poor Defense. Nate Clements covering Randy Moss is going to be one fun match-up. Besides, this time we wont have Travis falling over the invisible line marker
  19. I think we must be cursed. We had a QB who never left the pocket for the last three years, and the Wall jumped all over him for being a statue. Now we have a QB who likes to leave the pocket and throw on the run, and the Wall jumps all over him. At camp, the worst I can say about Losman is that he is inconsistent. Now remember everyone, this is still the first week of camp, it'll take him awhile to get into the groove. But what I can say is that I saw a steady improvement in him with each practice...that should be enough to comfort most people around here that he'll be ready to roll against the Texans.
  20. This seems to go against everything I saw in camp over 3 days and everything that is being reported in the other camp reports. I saw Losman getting the football out of there VERY fast...his timing and accuracy needed work, but he didnt hold onto it long at all. I'm especially confused over the DT report, considering that was all the crowd was talking about when the Defense took the field was how much push Edwards got and how McGahee needed to bounce outside just to get an open lane. Methinks they were just having a rough day, because I came away very impressed with Edwards. And McGahee looked like a BEAST to me...it seems like the 4 things that have been widely discussed as the most positive things about camp, you've pointed out as the worst things.
  21. If I had a football in my hands, Coy wouldnt want to have anything to do with me though...
  22. The Holcombe/Aiken Connection will be legendary in the rich history of the NFL. Good to see Aiken getting both hands on the ball this year though.
  23. Dear God, if this was a real game, poor Shaud would have the be scraped off the field for going in between two LBs like that.
