I guess Bledsoe is fast if you look at his speed in terms of geological terms. I mean, he's moving faster than the continental rift, thats something to be proud of!

Or how about the forgotten one, John Holecek? He was the man for us at MLB for a few years, I remember reading The Sporting News Preview one year and they called him one of the elite LBs in the NFL. Wha' happened?

Preseason records are pretty much worthless because, as proven last night, the Saints started most of their guys until the 3rd and managed to beat up on the Pats backups for a large portion of the game. HOWEVER... That doesnt mean we all cant enjoy watching Brady get the crap kicked out of him.

Poor Sam...he looked destined for great things when he came into the NFL. Injuries can be a cruel mistress. Watching him play the last few years with the Jets was pretty painful, it was clear he was just a shell of what we remembered him to be. I remember the day he signed with the Jets and watching the board freak out with masses of people running to the nearest bridge, screaming that we replaced Sam Cowart with this midget, personal-foul collecting guy named London Fletcher who'll never fit in our system. Whoops!

Wow, the Raiders have Grant Irons and Jay Foreman starting on their Defense...all they need now is Corey Moore and they'll complete their triumvirate of "not quite good enough" Bills players.

I'd really like to see Goldsberry make the 53-man roster, but he seems destined for the practice squad his first season. Not a big deal since a bunch of good players got their start on the PS, I really see Goldsberry as being our future FB when Shelton decides to call it quits.

Up until last year I believe, the NFL ruled that a WR had to be assigned an 80s number unless they received special permission by the NFL (Keyshawn got this). However... Last year the NFL ruled that WRs are now allowed to wear numbers in the teens (10-19) as well as the 80s, hence the reason last year a bunch of the rookie WRs decided on the teen numbers (guys like Roy Williams, Larry Fitzgerald, Reggie Williams). So Roscoe can stay with #11 if he wants, the NFL wont force him to give it up.

I was just about to post the same thing. That was a cute little throat clothesline he just threw on Ernie Conwell. I see he's in mid-season form.

One of the fantasy mags I bought this year described Bledsoe's running skills as "Bledsoe constantly appears as if he's running through a vat of pudding".

That was hilarious to watch Brady throw that INT...especially because it was against the Saints Defense which is downright pathetic. Still though, Brady rebounded with a nice throw to Tim Dwight...which amazed me due to two reasons: 1) Brady took a nasty hit but didnt seem to phase him at all 2) I didnt even know Tim Dwight was even alive

As do I. Dont get me wrong...I do believe Nate deserves to be paid LIKE one of the top CBs in the league, just not THE top CB in the NFL. While he is a playmaker and a shut-down corner, he's not the best yet...the mental screwups still catch him far too often. Anyone else remember his fumble in the Steelers game early on? Totally swung momentum towards the boys from Pittsburgh.

What I wont miss is that "Aw Shucks" look that Bledsoe had when things started to get tough during games. That was one thing we could count on...when the going got tough, Bledsoe gave up.

The fact that Mularkey says he'll be playing this weekend makes me think he just got dinged up and the Bills are, wisely I might add, not testing fate. If this injury was a long-term one that the Bills were covering up, why would Mularkey so blatantly bury himself by saying McGahee will play this weekend? Doesnt make any sense to me. McGahee doesnt need any more practice, he knows what he's doing...let him take a few practices off so he doesnt aggravate anything and then send him back in there when he feels good. No rush at this point.

Well then it'll be pretty much the same as the last 2 and a half years then since Bledsoe always came off as having ZERO confidence when the going got tough.
