Who would give up a first rounder for Peerless Price? I think you'd be surprised at the teams that would come running after Clements, so we might as well get something for him if we cant work out a long-term deal with him. We wont know until we try...and then if we cant work out either a long-term deal or if Clements doesnt sign his one year franchise offer...ship him and trade him like we did with Peerless.

Maybe before New England traded for Davis, he'd go to the Patriots...but not anymore. Besides, Price is the best example of the complete opposite from the normal Patriots players. He's a selfish, egotistical player who only is concerned with money. Yeah, that'll go over reaaaaallly well in New England. Actually though, if anyone could poison New England's happy world, it definitely would be Peerless Price...so maybe we should be rooting him to go there.

Isnt having Dr. Z pick us low a GOOD thing? I remember hearing people complain last year whenever Dr. Z predicted us to win, because it usually meant we would lose big time.

I totally agree with you. Neufeld and Trafford are just interchangeable scrubs to me, neither of them have shown me a thing aside from a few catches a year. I'd cut both of them, keep Campbell and Euhus and then sign Billy Miller. To me, he's proven he can be a great option for a young QB who might panic and dump the ball off over the middle when he played with David Carr. I would definitely look into bringing him aboard...I would be even willing to bet his contract wont be very high either.

I've kind of been surprised by this also. Coming out of college, it was his big arm AND mobility that he was famous for, and he hasnt gotten any shot to show it off. Perhaps the chances just havent been there for him to hit the open man, or he just isnt recognizing the down-field plays quick enough. Orrrrrr...could it be a ploy to lure the Texans into thinking the Bills wont go deep in the first game? We'll find out pretty soon!

He's been trying for the last two decades without any luck. I'm sure it pissed him off to no end when the Browns moved but were quickly replaced.

If it werent for our current away uniforms, I wouldnt be that strongly supporting a switch. But every time we play an away game, we look like an AF2 squad with the duds we got on. I'm not that big of a fan of the ol' "Standing Buffalo/Penis Buffalo" helmet either. I like the idea of the red helmet with the charging Buffalo, and then the throwback jerseys. It could work.

Davey definitely will be a Brown...Saban (for some ungodly reason) has already stated that its a two-way race between Feely and Ferrotte for who takes the starting job. I cant imagine he'd give his team much confidence if a week before the regular season, he simply says "Actually...both of you guys suck, time for the Rohan Davey Era"

I would actually have the Lions going pretty deep into the NFC Playoffs (at least the divisional round) if it werent for Harrington. To me, he really is holding that team back. Although his stats have improved every year, I just dont see a stable QB when I look at him. The Lions are scary though...good young team with excellent coaching. If they dont make the playoffs this year, they'll crash the party in 2006. Especially with the sorry state of the NFC, they could make it to the playoffs with an 8-8 record.

I'm amazed that Incognito even got drafted with a record like his. I remember hearing the horror stories of him in college, how he used to pick fights with people on the sidelines for sitting on "his bench" and throwing temper tantrums when the coaches tried to correct him. One look at him and the term "Roid Rage" quickly enters the mind. He reminds me of Kyle Turley, just without the talent.

Thats just how I feel about hearing the constant whining and complaining over a preseason loss. And personally, I find the DOOMED thing to be hilarious. Might as well have some fun with it!

He has that exempt status if we choose to keep him on, but to me there really is no point. Its not like he is going to win the 3rd QB job no matter what he does against the Lions, so why keep him around? I'd just cut him now, maybe give him a shot with some other squad.
