  1. And see? Just like during the regular season, Mularkey sensed that a puppy was in danger and ran the ball on first down. And look, 8 yards on it too! Good thing too...because this puppy was looking awfully delicious... http://web.mit.edu/cmcaram/www/mahshad/dog_running.jpg
  2. In all honesty, I'd rather see the Bills screw up now and have Losman throw all over the place than during Week One. Its just frustrating to see, thats all. I just figure we all need a little humor nowadays.
  3. Looks like we'll have one more chance before the half for Losman to put SOMETHING together. Even though its still preseason, I'm going to announce my first "If we pass on 1st down, I'm going to eat a puppy" decree for the 2005 season. Just to let Mularkey & Company know I mean business, its going to be a cute dog too.
  4. I'm slightly worried, but not about to throw in the towel like some around here. The playcalling is very sad though...we're supposed to be a power running team yet we've had Losman throw the ball more than twice as many times as we ran it. I REALLY hope this isnt the gameplan for this offense this year.
  5. Did Nate walk off under his own power?
  6. This offense is going to be painful to watch this year if we pass this much. Maybe its just to get Losman some experience in a game that doesnt matter, but its still stressful to watch.
  7. The last TD was called back, Bills stopped them. But you're right, the Bills starting Defense are getting embarassed by a bunch of scrubs...sounds eerily familiar... Losman looks absolutely pathetic...he's doing his Kyle Boller impression tonight. And I know its still preseason, but whats with all of the passing on first down? This reminds me of my oath last year to eat a puppy every time Clements thought it was a good idea to call a passing play on 1st and 10 from inside the 20
  8. Are we sure about this? Like is this based on opinion or something they said during the game?
  9. They look bad tonight, no doubt...but dont phone it in after a preseason game.
  10. He sure does. I said it at the beginning of this offseason and I'll say it again...Lindell alone will cost this team 2 games due to his inept and inconsistent kicking. I was hoping TD was going to replace him...and I'm still waiting.
  11. I see whatever alien kidnapped Rian Lindell a few weeks ago has brought him back, safe and sound. Good thing too, I was getting a little confident in our kicking game when he made that 54 yarder.
  12. I think our offense is trying to beat out the 97 Todd Collins-lead squad as the most pathetic. PU Tonight.
  13. And after JP getting sacked and throwing an INT that was ran back for a TD...let the hate flow!
  14. I dont think the NFL will allow the Saints to play too many games away from a "home" stadium. I'm willing to bet that they'll only play one game from their originally scheduled 8 home games in an away stadium. I think the Bills get the first crack at New Orleans in whatever becomes their home this season.
  15. From scanning over his article, I also agree on his Broncos finishing in the basement of the AFC West this year. This squad has been importing turds for far too long, this season...the Broncos finish below 6-10.
  16. I wonder if we could still trade to get Bledsoe back for a fair market value contract...
  17. You want Bledsoe back, CW?
  18. This will NOT be the same Texans team we take on in Week One. That Texans team will come out gunning for JP and really work our Defense. A very tough test for us.
  19. I think people are reading this as a "Will the Bills make the playoffs in 2005?" poll question. I almost missed your Bledsoe reference.
  20. With Simon on board with that contract, Colts fans might as well just wave goodbye to Edge now. It'll save them a lot of time.
  21. Isnt Ross Tucker an Ivy Leaguer?
  22. It amazes me that they can afford him...but hey, better the Colts than the Dolphins.
  23. Maybe at one point in their careers, but definitely not now.
  24. Actually, do you know what annoys me more? A majority of the national media are really on Bledsoe's back this year, saying that the Cowboys were fools for bringing him in, and that he's clearly broken down and completely immobile in the pocket. Even Theisman commented that when he does has time, his passes are nowhere near as accurate as they should be. Yet, because we got rid of him, we are the doomed ones. Yep, makes perfect sense. I dont know if Losman is the answer, but I guarantee that Bledsoe was not. But hey, we cant let facts get in the way of ESPN's boshizzle my nizzle reportin'! Boo-yeah!
  25. He probably wont be ready by then, but clearly the doomsayers who predicted he'd be gone for 2 months were waaaaay off if he just has a soft cast on now.
