  1. Remember when Steve DeBerg came in to be the Falcons QB after being their QB coach in the same year? I always liked thinking of Reeves turning to his bench and saying "Crap! We lost our last QB...NOW WHO WILL LEAD THIS TEAM!?" Only to have DeBerg stand up from the bench, rip his Falcons sweater-vest off to reveal his old tattered jersey underneath. "Put me in coach...I'm ready to play"
  2. Ahhhhhh, feels so good to be back, I kind of missed Simon's anger.
  3. *sigh* I guess bodacious boobies are fine...but I really had my heart set on 80 year old press conference nudity.
  4. Haslett as a D-Coordinator would be fine by me, the guy is a total Peter principle coach. Great as a coordinator, you just dont want him as your HC. I'm still hoping for Mooch or Sherman to be our new head coach though.
  5. New Bills Head Coach: Tom Donahoe. Now THAT would be funny.
  6. Yeah I dont know about the rest of you fine folk, but I definitely think Ralph called Kinkos to get a "Head Coach Wanted" sign to hang on the fieldhouse by the end of the week. Didnt seem that happy with Mularkey at all.
  7. I dont think Ralph will be meddling at all...all he said is that he's going from absolutely no dealings with the daily operations to some. My best guess is he'll just stay more informed than he has the last 5 years and give his opinion when needed. Ralph never struck me as a Al Davis/Jerry Jones/Dan Snyder owner...he'll be involved more but nothing overbearing I think.
  8. Looks like someone needs some of Ralph's prozac. Damn, is there any light in the world?
  9. Ralph should have ended the press conference with sudden abrupt nudity. REALLY give the press something to write about.
  10. Well, considering Marv's age...he might be the FATHER of Satan...
  11. Not necessarily, its obvious that Ralph has given the GM duties to Marv but he didnt "announce" that today either. I think Ralph's decision to keep talking about a "Fresh New Start" makes me think he means the coach too.
  12. He forced Ralph to not name him officially until tomorrow.
  13. Donahoe touched me in my no-nos. To put his reign into perspective, do you all realize we've watched the Bears suck, get good, suck again and rebuild all in the span of 5-6 years? All we've done is embarass ourselves in that time.
  14. Its pretty obvious that Marv is the new GM. I half expected him to stumble out from behind the curtain, only to be waved back by Wilson. This is the worst-kept secret in the NFL.
  15. Have each prozac pill have a face of a Buffalo Bill on it...they can be collectibles.
  16. Goodbye Mularkey! Methinks Ralph has already made up his mind.
  17. See? We are now one with Ralph.
  18. Ralph is goin' cray-zay on everyone...I love it!
  19. *rubbing his hands together* Some draft talk to dive right into. This is my first day of the Bills draft so far: 1) Haloti Ngata, DT from Oregon 2) Daryn Colledge, OT from Boise State 3a) Andrew Whitworth, OT from LSU 3b) Dusty Dvoracek, DT from Oklahoma Thats right, an entire day of stockpiling picks at DT and OT. In my opinion, this has been YEARS overdue. We are lucky that they are both very deep in this draft so lets take advantage of it. Ngata can start from Day One, and I personally love Dvoracek's intensity. Sure he has off the field trouble with anger-management, but you know what? We need a little mean-streak to our Defense. And Colledge is one of the most impressive OTs I've seen in college football this year. You might not know about him because he plays at Boise State, but this guy is an anchor on the line...has all the ability to be a stud LT in the NFL. Whitworth will need some time to develop at RT, but will be well worth it.
  20. Ralph drops back to fire Mularkey...but whats this!? He's taking out his wacky troll pen to sign the termination papers, I just dont understand this...he should just use the regular bic pen right in from of him. Oh no! The troll pen is out of ink, Wilson is getting flustered...and he's down! He's down! Mularkey stays!
  21. Oooooooooooooooo yeah...we were actually good for awhile in the 90s, werent we?
  22. Do most of the other NFL teams have to worry about the sweet embrace of death taking out their GM? Thats just added pressure on us fans.
  23. Thats actually where I've been the last few months...I was nestled in Wilson's office, hiding behind a ficus plant...waiting to deliver the scoop for everyone about this meeting. Before they finally discovered me, I overheard a lot of sobbing, yelling and what sounded like cottage cheese being eaten by a mountain gorilla. Also take this for what its worth, but I passed George Seifert being wheeled to the meeting by Marv Levy before I was thrown out by security.
  24. Enough fun to bring me back from the dead! That and...you know...having a reliable internet connection again. So lets see, I left the country in September...got back a few weeks ago, moved into a new apartment and got Road Runner this morning...have I missed anything with the Bills since then? *checks out the record* I leave you all alone for a few months and this is what happens...tsk tsk tsk...
