  1. I am convinced that if D'Brickashaw falls past the Jets at pick #4, you'll see the Bills trade up to get him by taking Green Bay's spot. The Packers need a LOT of work and could still land a player like AJ Hawk, Kiwi or Ngata at #8, plus they'd probably pick up our second rounder for the trade...thats another starter for them and they wont lose out on much (Jimmy Williams and Mario Williams are probably the most likely Niners/Raiders picks at this point). Bills get their star LT who they can FINALLY build an O-Line around...Packers get much needed Defensive help. A win-win really.
  2. There is only one thing wrong with that article...silly writer, we all know TRUE Patriots History didnt begin until 2001, when they won their first Superbowl. The years of losing and hilariously inept football did not happen...there is nothing but Brady. 2+2=Brady, unless Big Belichick says otherwise.
  3. Joseph is the guy I'd love to see us take in the 2nd round, the guy is an absolute beast. I am totally convinced now that if Ferguson falls out of the top 4, the Bills will trade with the Packers to select him at #5. D'Brickashaw is the ultimate anchor on the line, a guy that instantly upgrades everyone around him. Plus, being as that he plays the all-important LT spot, we can solve one of our biggest problems in one move. Sure, we'll be giving up our #1, one of our 3rds and probably our 4th to move up only 3 spots, but he is worth it. Take D'Brickashaw in the first, Joseph in the 2nd and Jesse Mahelona the DT from Tennessee in the 3rd and we will have taken a huge step to getting beter along the lines.
  4. Any thoughts on Kevin Everett? The kid did have a lot of good press coming out of college, and should be back to 100%...do we go out and sign somebody new or see if Everett can do the job?
  5. There are a LOT of things you can blame on RJ (about a thousand of them spring to mind) but that game wasn't his fault. He didnt win us that game...but it wasnt his fault we lost.
  6. Anyone see that South Park episode where the kids are playing Little League baseball and are pissed when they realize they made playoffs and have to play more games? Thats the Jags tonight...the apathy is thick on this crappy squad.
  7. John Henderson & Marcus Stroud = BEASTS.
  8. Tim Dwight is the whitest man on the planet. Even more so than Bill Gates.
  9. Is it just me...or do the Jags act like "Oh...crap, we have to play ANOTHER game? Come on...if someone told us we had to keep going we would have just lost them all, sheesh." I get this real apathetic vibe off of them.
  10. Chris Simms = "Dawgged". Or We Todd Ed. Or Wicked Retahded.
  11. If thats the way the top 3 picks go, I think all teams would get the guy they wanted. The Texans get a player to build the franchise around, the Saints FINALLY get a true QB to lead the team, and the Titans replace Steve McNair with a younger version of...well...Steve McNair. What the Jets do will be very, very interesting...I think DeAngelo Williams is going to surge up the draft boards in the coming months, he could be a possibility. Or LenDale White if he declares since the Jets desperately need someone to replace Martin.
  12. The fans of the Texans, the fans of the Jets and the single fan of the Saints are celebrating.
  13. Cutting Mike Williams is going to be a lock. He's fat, he's lazy, he's constantly injured, and he saves us 4.9 million bucks if we release him. We could get THREE players who play at MW's level for that money.
  14. Thats definitely a possibility, and maybe my opinion on him will change when I get a glance at how he performs at the Combine, but right now I'd rather see the Bills take a pass on him. And I dont know, the more I think about it the more I'm convinced that the Bills are going to want to trade up to get D'Brickashaw if he makes it out of the top four. Getting a stud LT (one who can actually...you know...play the position makes him better than anything we've had over the last couple of years) is so important in the NFL, and I think the Bills could pull a trade involving their 1st rounder and the Titans 3rd rounder to move up 3 spots.
  15. I love Jimmy Williams talent...but they guy is a first class jerk...think Nate Clements, Version 2.0. I dont know what the love affair with Kiwi is, I've watched that guy play this year and have never been that impressed.
  16. What I'd want to happen: Release Fat Mike, Release Fat Sam. Keep Moulds with a paycut. What probably will happen: All of them go Bills have oodles of cash, but lose a lot with Moulds going bye-bye.
  17. Chuck Lester = Having nude, incriminating pictures of Ralph Wilson
  18. His brother isn't exactly the pinnacle of intelligence either.
  19. It would still be somewhere in the neighborhood of 17 million though, thats taking into consideration the RFA tenders and any escalators that might kick in (Obviously none of them know the specifics for each player, but I seriously doubt Losman's contract has a 4 million dollar playing time clause...TD was bad, not THAT bad). I'm just saying releasing those 3 vets is 12.5 million dollars off the cap in savings. And thats using Clumpy's numbers.
  20. Also, the Steelers arent in great cap shape to re-sign their vets, and a certain Antwaan Randle-El is up for UFA this season. Not saying its a priority, but you KNOW Mularkey would love to get him into the fold. If we're going to run idiotic trick plays, we might as well run idiotic trick plays with someone who's decent at them. I think if Moulds gets released, Randle-El is the guy the Bills will target to bolster the WR corps. He's nowhere near Moulds level as a starter, but could fit into Mularkey's wacky offense.
  21. Just for reference, cutting Moulds, Adams and Williams would put us at 22 million dollars under according to those numbers.
  22. FA DT's Aubrayo Franklin RFA Ravens Cedric Killings RFA Redskins Chris Hovan UFA Buccaneers Damione Lewis UFA Rams Demtrin Veal RFA Broncos Edward Jasper UFA Raiders Ethan Kelley RFA Browns Grady Jackson UFA Packers James Reed UFA Jets Justin Bannan UFA Bills Kenderick Allen RFA Giants Kendrick Clancy UFA Giants Kenny Smith UFA Raiders Kindal Moorehead RFA Panthers Langston Moore RFA Cardinals Larry Tripplett UFA Colts Lional Dalton UFA Chiefs Ma'ake Kemoeatu UFA Ravens Monsanto Pope UFA Broncos Rob Meier UFA Jaguars Rocky Bernard UFA Seahawks Ron Edwards UFA Bills Russell Davis UFA Cardinals Ryan Pickett UFA Rams Terdell Sands UFA Raiders Willie Blade UFA Cowboys Slim pickings aside from Triplett. Methinks Ngata might as well get fitted for his Bills jersey right now.
  23. The HAWK was on fire in the bowl game, wasnt he? Damn good player...but eh...we need to improve across our lines, we've put that off long enough. Dont get me wrong...I dig AJ Hawk and think he will dominate at the next level...but I also think Williams, Ngata or Ferguson will be equally succesful in the NFL.
  24. Oh Smoot smack, what will you think of next?
  25. If our draft day choices come down to Ngata, Williams or Ferguson...I'd say thats a damn good problem to have.
