  1. ITS OVAH ROCK! ITS OVAH!
  2. Time for Manning to screw up.
  3. Dewey just sacked Truman...ewwww.
  4. I'd take #16 in a Niners uniform....because its the playoffs. Manning hasnt been able to lead any comebacks in the playoffs...
  5. No comebacks ever in the playoffs though...Manning and his big game issues.
  6. You have GOT to be kidding me. The Colts will still probably screw this up. Almost did with that punt return.
  7. I'm hoping the Steelers just bleed out the rest of this clock...kick the Colts right in the face.
  8. With the Patriots dynasty 6-feet under, its time for the refs to find another team to blow.
  9. Wow...this is a world class-raping done by the refs on the Steelers.
  10. So basically, because neither player were active for the majority of the 2005 season, they dont have to wait until the March 1st deadline and can sign contracts with new teams immediately, but they wont be "official" until a certain date. And who says Marv doesnt have an understanding of the GM position?
  11. I've never heard of it either. Maybe Marv read the NFL rule book and said "Well...it doesnt say I CANT do this..."
  12. Hey, hey...poor guy played with the Browns...it probably fried his brain. Anyways I doubt these guys are going to make the final roster...just some vets for camp.
  13. ACTUALLY...a few years ago Mark Word was actually the only D-Lineman for the Browns worth a damn, got 8 sacks I think. Hasnt done anything the last two years...but hey...worth a look in camp.
  14. I agree on it being an uber-mistake. In my opinion the Texans could have gotten a bounty in trade-down picks from the Jets...move down to #4, take D'Brickashaw to repair your crappy O-Line and probably pick up an extra second rounder in the process. I've always believed that your first and second rounders should be instant contributers. Obviously there are always exceptions, but generally you draft 1st and 2nd rounders with the belief they'll be starters either immediately or in the near future. The Texans just passed on a chance to significantly improve their team. Also, I loved that episode of ATHF. "We goin to Jeffy's House!"
  15. [Groucho Marx]Tell you what, lets talk deal right now...we'll get down to brass tacks. Now Brady is broken...we all know that, he's never coming back after tonight's loss. We'll give you our amazing #8 overall pick for your dingy old Brady, whadya say, we got ourselves a deal? Of course we do...I'll break out the cubans and we'll celebrate...you made a wise choice my friend, very wise. [/Groucho]
  16. The Patriots lost...O RLY?
  17. Ya, Rly!! lolololllol!1!1!1!!!1!1 Sometimes...I disgust myself.
  18. Yup. We improve the interior of our D-Line, and it'll just be amazing how our OLBs and DEs will free up. The Bills have got to stop dicking around when it comes to improving along the lines this offseason...dont SAY you'll get better, go find the guys who'll MAKE you better.
  19. He struggled, but so did everyone...he played tough enough last year to make me think the constant dings just caught up with him this season. Happens to a lot of good O-Lineman. I'd rather hold onto him and see if he can reclaim his 2004 status with a better cast of O-Linemen around him.
  20. I dont think anyone is going to question Haslett's passion for the Bills job if he gets his chance. He's stated a bunch of times getting the Bills HC gig would be his dream job, and as you stated...has oodles of ties to the city and the team. Would he be passionate as our new HC? Yep...ten times more than Mularkey or Williams were. Does he have the talent to rebuild this team into winners? Now THAT is really the key question...and I didnt see much out of him in New Orleans aside from that first year he was there (2000 I think) to make me think he can.
  21. Or...you know...Jim Haslett
  22. Bills do need a complete overhaul on the lines...I'm looking at the O-Line and think we MIGHT only have one starter on that squad, and he's getting up there in the age department (Villarial). I'm happy with Jason Peters' development, maybe an offseason of working strictly as an O-Lineman will give him another boost but right now he's just a decent backup. On the D-Line...we really need two new DTs. Adams is talking his way right out of Buffalo and we'll save a nice chunk of change if we release him. And Edwards/Bannan/Anderson/Sape...uggghhh. So yeah, Bills will be busy this offseason...at least I HOPE they will be.
  23. LT's stats since Marty became his coach: 2002: 1683 yards, 14 TDs (1 Rec TD) 2003: 1645 yards, 13 TDs (4 Rec TDs) 2004: 1335 yards, 17 TDs (1 Rec TD) 2005: 1462 yards, 18 TDs (2 Rec TDs) I wish Schottenheimer would misuse McGahee like that.
  24. If we had to choose between ex-Bills players and who have HC experience, I'm definitely taking Marty. Then Lonnie Johnson Then Jim Haslett.
  25. Ahhhh my old boss Florio is at it again I see...
