  1. Wouldnt hiring Dick Jauron do the exact same thing?
  2. I agree...its got me shaking my head.
  3. Doens't that also prove that although Sherman DID have the luxury of one of the best QBs ever to play the game, on the flip side Jauron had SERIOUS offensive issues? Look at how many QBs he ran through...I'd have serious doubts about this defensive guru's ability to help our crappy offense. To me, Sherman gives us the best chance to return to decent play the quickest. Didnt Marv say his goals were to win the Superbowl as fast as he could? Definitely wouldnt get there by bringing in a guy who has failed twice now at putting together a decent offense in Jauron. That may be a bit harsh considering he only had 6 weeks as Lions HC, but still...doesnt give me much confidence in him.
  4. It might just be in terms of perception, but with Mike Sherman I think there is hope at One Bills Drive...with Dick Jauron, I just feel like its the Gregg Williams/Mike Mularkey Show, Version 3.0.
  5. How are we to react then to Dick Jauron who, in that same weak division, failed pretty badly except for one year? I dont know...I've never heard anyone mention Dick Jauron for any of the other HC jobs in the NFL...if he's so talented why havent other teams swooped him up after the Lions crashed this year? To me it all seems like Marv settling on one of his buddies...same thing our old GM did. I really think the Bills should just cut the crap and bring in the guy with the best WINNING record...which would be Sherman. Thats all that matters to me, and as a fan I know I'd feel more comfortable with a guy like Sherman in charge then a guy like Jauron who I honestly didnt even know was still coaching in the league until 2 months ago.
  6. My bad Brav, just in a day that was full of fake posts and misleading info, it turned me uber-skeptical. That and I've got this sinking feeling the Bills are going to "settle" on Dick Jauron.
  7. Ahhhhh...now it makes sense. !@#$ is about as reliable as PFT.com
  8. I doubt it was supposed to
  9. I'm curious to see what fellow Bills fans would think if we went the Jauron route...I have a feeling he's the guy the Bills are going to settle on. Obviously we couldnt do anything about it either way, but just for giggles I thought it would be interesting.
  10. Prior to this past season, Sherman led the Packers to four consecutive playoff appearances and three straight NFC North division titles. Ah but if you listen to some people on The Wall, winning isnt the most important thing...its all about potential baby! Thats Dick Jauron right there!
  11. Hold on one second Patriot fans, let me break out the world's smallest violin for you...
  12. Mularkey did so poorly when he was wide awake, I say we give Shermy a shot while he's asleep.
  13. I definitely dont have a problem with going O-Line in the first and D-Line in the second...I also think Gabe Watson is extremely underrated and will be a very solid starter in the NFL. IMO, regardless of if the bills go out and sign quality FAs, we should still spend our first two picks on O-Line and D-Line. This is a deep draft for both and we'd be foolish not to stock up.
  14. I'm okay with Jackson...draft Ngata, sign Jackson and BAM...major interior D-Line upgrade.
  15. Nah, I just switched uniforms for the late game...we're sportin' the camo unis now... Rock On, Camo!
  16. Anyone else deeply disturbed with the thought of a "lusting Levy"?
  17. Now look, they've suddenly made it an ESPN Insider article...I've got em' on the run now! BGiM: 2 ESPN: 0
  18. Thats right, double your fun as this is actually Bills related but also a heapin helpin of self-love. APPARENTLY the fat cats over at ESPN just cant take my tough, unbiased questioning. They dont know how to handle me. I'm somewhat of a loose cannon if you will. In their PFW chat today, here is MY question that they posted: Mark (Clifton Park, NY): Any word on who the Bills are leaning towards in terms of their new HC? It seems like its down to Sherman, Jauron and Haslett. The answer? There was no answer. They just went on to the next question. Clearly, I've flustered the higher ups in ESPN and PFW right down to the core. They werent ready for me, they cant handle a megastar like myself going straight for the jugular with my questions. http://proxy.espn.go.com/chat/chatESPN?event_id=10484 That or they...forgot to answer it...either way: Mark: 1 ESPN: 0

  20. One of the best things I've ever read on The Wall
  21. Still 4 points behind the Sens though...and a long road-game streak will test how good this team really is. Dont get me wrong, I'm a huge Sabres fan and love what they've done...but there is still a LOT of season left to be played. If they can come back from the Olympic break and still play hot like this...they are going to storm the Stanley Cup playoffs.
  22. The Mighty Mangina has arrived!
  23. heh heh...dumping on his line...heh heh... He's not Najeh Davenport!
  24. Anyone seen the Sabres offense in the 2nd?
  25. Damn...that means the temptation for Marv and Ralph to hire Mike Tice is still there!
