  2. Its garbage, another Soprano lie that he's trying to hype up as the reason his Sherman allegation didnt come true. Dont believe it, the guy got caught in his lie and he's trying to squirm out of it.
  3. If that means that we'll have Jauron for 11 seasons and four straight Superbowl runs (with his Yale-ness winning a few SBs instead of Levy's Harvard-ness losing them), I'll consider it an even trade boss-man.
  4. I'm open to giving Jauron a chance. The guy does have valuable coaching experience and could surprise a lot of people...I wont lie, I'm not thrilled with the move...but I'm not stupid enough to close the door on the guy without seeing his work with the Bills first.
  5. Very nice offseason...huge props for the Ngata selection and the Shaffer and Dalton signings. The only things I'd change is cutting Sam Adams and changing that Daryl Tapp pick...aside from that, good job!
  6. I'm not happy with the Jauron pick...but I'm willing to give the guy a chance before I send him to the gallows. However, hearing Marv and Ralph try to hype him up tomorrow will be HILARIOUS. How can you sell a guy like Jauron to a broken and dejected fan-base?
  7. Great, just what we need...an ivy-league loser who couldnt cut it out in Kansas City. Screw this, I'm selling my tickets. This team is NEVER going to get better!
  8. Some Bills fans are just take this game waaaaaaaaaay too seriously. I dont like the Jauron pick either, but there is no way I abandon the team over it, thats just "Dawgged". Too many fans drank the whole Sherman Is Coming Kool-Aid. For the last time, DONT LISTEN TO "INSIDE" SOURCES POSTED ON MESSAGE BOARDS. THEY ARE NOT REAL, NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU'D LIKE THEM TO BE. Sheesh...raise your hand if you have more football knowledge then Marv...then you will have a valid point about your ability to pick a better HC. Until then, we dont know jack about what this guy can do with a new team. I'm convinced if we had The Wall back in the 80s, this board would have come unglued by the fact we hired this ivy-league bastard who failed with a past team.
  9. Get ready for some wacky plays, fin fans. 3rd and one? What better time for a triple-reverse halfback pass? All joking aside, Mularkey could do well there...the guy showed with the Steelers he can make some damn good calls as a coordinator. But they better hope Saban doesn't give him all of the play-calling power, otherwise that offense will crap out on them.
  10. Started all 16 games this year, couldn't have been TOO bad. You're right though, in the past he has had trouble staying healthy...so I wouldnt be too opposed to getting another DT aside from Jackson...a guy like Lionel Dalton would also suffice.
  11. Oooooo, I just saw that Kevin Shaffer's name is on that list! If he makes it to free agency, he's a guy I'd love to see come to Buffalo. Very underrated player, not well-known...started the last two seasons as Atlanta's LT, still very young. Would be a great addition. BGiM's Free Agency Wish List: (No Bentley because every team in the NFL will go after him...we cant compete...I'm trying to be realistic here) 1) Kevin Shaffer, OT from Atlanta 2) Steve Neal, OT/OG from New England 3) Grady Jackson, DT from Green Bay. Add to this my mock draft underneath and you'd have a very solid offseason. Two new starters on the O-Line (possibly 3 if you count O'Callaghan who I think is going to excel at the NFL level), and a Grady Jackson/Haloti Ngata interior D-Line...Thats a lot of beef!
  12. Another tidbit about Ngata...the guy is Polynesian Mormon. Try and wrap your mind around that one...but hey, coming to Western New York could be a pilgrimage for the big guy then!
  13. I see that you are a fan of Winston, and I agree with you completely that we need to make O-Line one of our top priorities in this offseason (we've dicked around it for 6 years, hopefully this regime takes it seriously). But going back to Winston, wouldnt you consider him a HUGE risk because of his injuries? From what I saw of him this season (which granted was only two games I watched on television), but he didnt seem at all dominating to me...nowhere near his pre-injury level. To me it just seems that Winston is damaged goods, I'd like to see an instant upgrade with our #8 pick. Although I STILL think if D'Brickashaw falls out of the top 4, the Bills pull a trade with the Packers to move up to #5 and take him.
  14. Ex-Packers coach may be named head coach in Buffalo this weekend Although really nothing we havent seen already in this link...however...what I do find funny is that I found this article on the pop-up page when you first go to BuffaloBills.com in their "Bills Clips" section. Are they gearing the fan base for Mike Sherman? Or is it just the wacky timing of a news rotation? Either way...another good piece to stir up The Wall. http://packers.scout.com/2/491272.html By the way, I STILL think its going to be Jauron...I've got this weird "settling" feeling to this new regime.
  15. Wow, if those numbers are indeed accurate Nate goes bye-bye.
  16. To give credence to that theory, the Capers and Caldwell interviews DID come out of nowhere...it seemed like the Bills were going to wrap it up after Lofton, and then in come those two guys...on the same day. Hmm. Just throwing fuel onto the fire.
  17. Would I be angry about it if Jauron got hired? Damn straight I would. Do I understand that I, as a fan, dont have anywhere the amount of football expertise that Marv Levy and Ralph Wilson have? Damn straight I do. So I'll reserve judgement on Jauron...I wont lie though, if he becomes our next HC I'll be a dejected Bills fan.
  18. WGR states that there is still a split between who is going to be HC...Soprano said that a decision was going to be announced by the end of the week...whoops, I guess thats Tuesday now...that Sherman has already been given the job. Lets just face it. WGR doesnt know squat...neither do posters on this board who registered days ago and claim they have inside sources. Yes I'm a cynical bastard, but to me its all speculation with people simply trying to scream louder than the other "No, MY Inside Source is the BEST!"
  19. But...But...But...Soprano said...
  20. How is that different from the diehard fans of the other 31 teams? That type of crazyness isnt just regulated to Western New York.
  21. How about if the team didnt...you know...suck the last 6 years? For some reason I think fan problems during games and losing go hand in hand. Put out a better product on the field, give us something to feel good about...and you'll see things like fights and fan hatred towards certain players/coaches diminish significantly.
  22. Wow you know...opening this thread, it was NOTHING what I expected it to be. Sounds funny though.
  23. Just an update, apparently Caldwell is interviewing...right now. BB.com said that Capers interviewed in the morning, and Caldwell is currently at One Bills Drive going through the interview process this afternoon/ Interesting that they wanted to speed it up.
  24. I completely agree...I associate these "new" jerseys with losing...failure...not being able to meet expectations. Sure the standing buffalo uniforms kinda reminds me of the same things, but at least they look spiffy! All joking aside, I also think we should ditch the "new" uniforms...it was a nice little experiment, but if we really do want to start with a clean slate, lets wipe away the hideous uniforms in the process.
