  1. This. Fine with releasing Fitzpatrick, bringing in Smith as a veteran hand and then drafting a QB in rounds 1 or 2.
  2. Lovie Smith makes the most sense and is actually gunning for this job. Naturally, that means he won't get it.
  3. Good stuff, I like him a lot...he definitely knows how to create havoc on the defensive side of the ball. Back to back seasons of 54+ sacks since he became coordinator of the Cards D. Also 20+ INTs each season for his squads too. Players all love him too but I think he has zero experience on the offensive side of the ball so he'd have to come stacked with a good offensive coordinator.
  4. Rob Johnson has a Superbowl ring.
  5. Seems about right for us.
  6. This has got to be Knapp's last run as a coordinator.
  7. Whoa. Forgot all about him.
  8. Florio had an interesting tidbit on Gailey's firing and the speculation on the new head coach. And with owner Ralph Wilson now 94 years old, we’ve got a feeling he’ll be spending some of what he can’t take with him on a high-end coach who owns a Super Bowl ring. Insider knowledge or speculation? Hmmmmmm. http://profootballta...ce-chan-gailey/
  9. Bye Andy. I'd rather we franchise Byrd and re-sign Rinehart to take over.
  10. Come on in for an interview, Lovie.
  11. Don't get too excited. Lets remember, every time that common sense dictates the Bills should dominate a particular aspect of a game, we fail miserably. See: New York Jets Offensive Line against Bills Defensive Line. Even with Mankins out, I bet the Bills still struggle badly to get to Brady.
  12. We've got two very young CBs back there and it shows. I would expect, just like with every young CB, that GIlmore will get better the more games he has under his belt. That being said, I expect him to get destroyed on Sunday by Welker and Company. If Welker and Lloyd both don't come out of this game with 100+ yards under their belt, I'll be shocked.
  13. It's true though. A team as talented as the Patriots, with as much experience as they have, should not lose 3 in a row. Its unfortunate for us that we are the third team.
  14. This. What goes around comes around Rodney. To be honest though, out of all of the predictions I've seen I'd say that 90% of them pick the Patriots to crush us. So Bruschi throwing us a bone means nothing to me since most of the national media thinks we're just a road bump in this game.
  15. I honestly haven't missed him a bit, but then again I barely noticed him when he was playing for us.
  16. Can't believe I predicted the Bills to win this weekend. Damn offseason optimism!
  17. *eyes BringBackFergy suspiciously as he leaves and gives a quick nod towards Belichick* It's okay Bill...we're back. We'll protect you again.
  18. *throws flag and blows whistle* Talking bad about our Holy Patriots and the Savior Bill Belichick...on BringBackFergy...immediate lifetime ban and automatic Bills loss this weekend. *blows whistle to continue thread*
  19. That got a legit chuckle out of me. I especially like how Gilmore is not participating. It fits his personality perfectly.
  20. You KNEW the real refs were coming back the week we played New England. The "cant breathe on Brady" rule will be back and in full effect!
  21. The presser definitely is making it obvious that Moorman was released based on his lack of production. Sad to see Moorman go, best of luck to him!
  22. Quotes from the presser (via Twitter): GM Buddy Nix: "It's always a tough decision, especially for a guy who has been here for 12 years" Nix: "We look all the time at possible ways to upgrade and get a little better at each position"
