  1. I'm still very happy we have Willis McGahee in the backfield. Honestly, I'd like for him to just shut up and not talk so much smack next season because it always bites him in the ass, but I have to agree with him that some of the offensive play-calls last year were...how to put this nicely so Mularkey doesnt cry...questionable? I'm confident that with a new offense, he has the potential to explode.
  2. Katzenmoyer was the ONLY player I've ever seen actually get worse each year in college and subsequently in the NFL. His first year starting in college he was the man, I'm talking Chris Spielman Revisited. Then...he kept getting dumber and dumber, and his play on the field kept getting worse and worse.
  3. WELL...since we're all creaming ourselves over stats here...here is Fairchild's offensive rankings with the Rams since he became their O-Coordinator. 2003: 3rd in the NFL in Points, 7th in Yards 2004: 19th in the NFL in Points, 6th in Yards 2005: 11th in the NFL in Points, 6th in Yards
  4. The midget WR corps worked for the Redskins this year... But I think the issue is moot because I feel that Moulds will be a Bill next season.
  5. Yeah but being the smartest football player out of Oregon really isnt saying THAT much.
  6. Holy Crap! http://www.brownsteins.net/Ulpan/Images/Marv%20Levy.jpg http://members.aol.com/pseisen/booberry/booface.gif Okay, now I'm scared.
  7. Whats wrong with Robert Gallery anyways? The dude has started from Day One, it took him a bit to learn the system but I've heard Raiders fans say nothing but good things about him.
  8. The fact he went to Yale tells me he should have SOME degree of reasoning. As opposed to Mularkey, who graduated from the University of Duuuuuuuh. Props to Family Guy for that last joke.
  9. All: Who controls the British crown? Who keeps the metric system down? We do! We do! Karl: Who leaves Atlantis off the maps? Lenny: Who keeps the Martians under wraps? Alien: We do! We do! All: Who holds back the electric car? Who makes Steve Gutenberg a star? We do! We do! Skinner: Who robs cavefish of their sight? Homer: Who rigs every Oscar night? All: We do! We dooooooooooo!
  10. Lofton or Caldwell would be interesting.
  11. Poor Jay...he was well-liked in these parts.
  12. I've said all along...if D'Brick makes it past the Jets at #4, I guarantee you that Marv will try to trade with the Packers for the #5 spot. It just makes sense... The Packers could use some O-Line help of their own, but their problems are at the interior O-Line positions. They have two very good tackles actually in Mark Tauscher and Chad Clifton, both guys have started every game for the last 3 seasons and both are in their late 20s, so it wouldnt make too much sense on the Packers part to take a guy like D'Brickashaw...ESPECIALLY since their Defense is absolutely horrendeous. Sooooooo, here's what happens. Bills trade up for #5, take D'Brickashaw. Packers move down only 3 spots to #8, pick up a guy like Ngata or Michael Huff or Jimmy Williams (or even Lendale White if they want to go offense with the pick) AND stockpile another Bills pick(s) for their trouble. To me, it just seems perfect. Thats IF the Jets dont take D'Brickashaw...and thats a mighty big IF.
  13. I was thinking Will Blackmon could be a possibility in my mock as well. I've heard nothing but good things about him.
  14. Bobby April...I'd say he's done a damn fine job for just being another "cast-off"
  15. I'll tell you something else...I think that Lendale White's draft stock will soar before April rolls around. People might be looking at him the same way they saw Carnell Williams this year. Reggie Bush may be the flashier of the duo, but White is the workhorse. We could work out a trade-down with a team that's desperate to get him.
  16. I remember last year I came across a website that had a poll that read: Which city deserves an NFL team? Los Angeles San Antonio Portland Hartford Las Vegas San Francisco I got a chuckle out of that.
  17. What's even freakier is that Mike Mularkey looked exactly like Frankenberry... http://www.billszone.com/mtimages/2004/11/mularkey2.jpg http://members.aol.com/pseisen/frankenberry/frankenface.gif
  18. Thanks, its mad-early and I'm sure to change it depending on what happens in free agency, but I figured it would be good to throw something up there. I hope we still are going to be doing the mock drafts this year on The Wall. They are always uber-fun.
  19. They're performing disturbing puppy-killing rituals inside Marv's office right now.
  20. Actually, quick story...I did actually spell my name wrong on not one but TWO finals in the same day back when I was an undergrad. But I was hung over, so I consider it a wash. And just think, the government is paying ME to go to grad school. Heh heh heh...suckers.
  21. I did, and he just laughed about it and said SO many people ask him that question...but he never gave me a response. So yeah, he obviously has drunken nude pictures of Ralph.
  22. I've met Chuck Lester twice actually, and he remembered me from the first time I talked to him. He is well aware of the running joke that as the NFL world turns, he'll ALWAYS be spared.
  23. Jeebus! Go to BuffaloBills.com's main page...could they have found a bigger picture for this guy? It's like he's coming right at you!
  24. Groovy find. Looks like he has oodles of experience...was a coach for two teams that played in a Superbowl. And hey, the last cast-off we got from St. Louis absolutely rocked...lets see if we strike gold again.
  25. I dig the Mangold pick...I actually think he will last to the early 2nd round, so that pick makes sense to me. Plus...Mangold. Thats such a disturbingly funny name.
