  1. Joygasmically hot.
  2. Sabres got to get their power play working...its looked pretty sad the last few games.
  3. Habs are probably going to take this game, they are on a mad hot streak as of the last 2 games.
  4. I second the love for O'Callaghan...kid can play tackle or guard, would definitely give some flexibility to our line. But going back to the earlier post, Eric Winston's stock has really fallen lately...he MIGHT not even be drafted by the 2nd round if he performs badly at the Combine.
  5. "Somewhere...Kordell Stewart is crying right now..."
  6. Thanks...luckily for me, picking "need" players for Green Bay is like shooting fish in a barrel. If Max Jean-Giles is there in the 2nd round, those Cheeseheads are going to cream themselves with joy.
  7. Jeff Backus Kevin Shaffer Tom Ashworth Jon Runyan LJ Shelton Tutan Reyes Stephen Neal Kyle Kosier Kevin Shaffer is, in my opinion, one of the most underrated players in the NFL. He would be a huge signing for us and would soldify the LT spot. I'm not saying those guys are better than Hutch or Bentley (with the exception of Shaffer being at their level...and only 26 I might add), all I'm saying is there are a lot more options out there. If we cant land Hutch or Bentley, we can easily go out and sign some of the quality, yet less-famous players in the NFL. Worked for the Patriots.
  8. Yeah, because God knows no other teams in the NFL (with much better records, better coaching staffs and more cap space) will be going after both of them. They're all ours baby! There are a lot of good O-Lineman in free agency aside from Bentley and Hutchinson. I fear this is going to be the Mike Sherman situation all over again...fans have their hearts unrealistically set on Bentley and when he doesnt sign with Buffalo, the board will get pissy.
  9. If the NFL had their way, Tom Brady would have been named Superbowl MVP for that great coin toss.
  10. Time to play the world's smallest violin for Seahawk fans.
  11. This ought to bring back memories... http://www.logoserver.com/WFL.html
  12. Also...Tommy Maddox, the MVP of the XFL. Megastar baby, Megastar.
  13. Bennie Anderson. Although technically he's NOT an NFL player.
  14. And Miller slams the pimp hand down right on the Senators. GREAT WIN by the Sabres...and hey, they're only 4 points back now and have bragging rights until March 18th when they go at it again. The next 4 games are uber-important for Buffalo...they need to not suffer a letdown against Montreal, somehow find a way to beat the Panthers (I cant believe I typed that...) and then...Carolina to finish it off before the break. Man, if they run the table against The Rangers, The Flyers, The Senators AND The Hurricanes in one month...they'll be the most feared team in the NHL.
  15. Oh baby, the NFL writers are in trouble now...we got Sabrina's cat after them! Still though, I totally agree with Nick. Actually, I was thinking today...someone on ESPN used Art Monk to trump why Michael Irvin hasnt gotten in yet by saying Monk has waaaaay better stats than Irvin. And yet...Andre has waaaaay better stats than Monk. Funny how no one mentions that little tidbit. And he was in 4 more Pro Bowls than Monk was. Ah but hey...2+2=5 unless ESPN says otherwise.
  16. The Dominator is kicking our butts tonight...we cant get anything by him.
  17. Sabres start off short-handed though...not good.
  18. Thats totally a reason TO buy it.
  19. The Sabres generally kick it into high gear in the 3rd period...lets see if they can do it against the NHL's best.
  20. Sabres seem to have cooled off a LOT during the 2nd period...cant beat the Sens like this.
  21. Andre Reed has better stats then Art Monk. Went to 7 Pro Bowls as opposed to Monk's 3. In every single receiving category, Reed has better stats. So shouldnt Reed get in before Monk? The reason Monk doesnt get in is because he consistently was above-average for his career, but never elite. Then again, that criteria got Warren Moon in, so go figure. And Jerome isnt even elligible until he retires, then its a 5-year wait. Ray Guy wont get in until its an amazingly weak class. Carmichael's stats arent good enough to get near the Hall. Wilbert Montgomery? You've got to be kidding me.
  22. 2007 first year eligible players: (taken from an old Dr.Z column) Terrell Davis, Jamal Anderson, Randall Cunningham, Eric Allen, Carnell Lake, Bruce Matthews, Ricky Watters and Tony Boselli. Luckily the only guy on that list who I think is worth first-year consideration is Bruce Matthews...so hopefully that'll allow the NFL HOF committee to pull their heads out of their butts and let Thurman in...that is if more legendary senior-selection players like Rayfield Wright dont keep him out again
  23. No CFL stats go into the Pro Football Hall of Fame consideration due to the CFL having their own Hall of Fame. So it makes the Moon selection even more baffling.
  24. Seriously, this gives hopes to guys like Drew Bledsoe, Vinny Testaverde, Dave Krieg and Boomer Esiason that one day they can somehow make it to Canton. They got the numbers! They got the Pro Bowls! Drew even has a Superbowl victory! Get em' all in there.
  25. Bruce retired in 2003, so he has to wait 5 years to become eligible.
