I just noticed just how deep this draft is...3rd round and there are still potential first-year starters hanging around. Very impressive depth this year. As opposed to last year's kiddy-pool depth of talent.

Sabres should be embarassed they lost this game to a really inferior Montreal team. But at least they got a point, its better than nothing. Still though, this team goes NOWHERE in the playoffs if they play like that...probably their worst performance since November.

I dont think TE is that big of a priority since I'm willing to give Everett a shot, but if Byrd slips to our third round pick, I'd love to have him.

If WVU doesn't take him, The Green Bay Packers select Donte Whitner, Safety out of Ohio State. Wont be around later so I figure I'd get that pick out there.

lol...I spoke too soon. I've been pre-conditioned due to the last 3 years to just watch the Sabres fold in tough situations...but this squad keeps on fighting. They got something special. And they definitely have a splash of luck too...but heck, I'll take it.

Sabres weren't playing to win, they were playing not to lose. They were just waaaaaay too relaxed. Crowd is back in it now. And Montreal is now on the power play with less than two minutes left. Bad juju, Sabres gave this game up.

Sabres blow a big one by letting that shorthanded goal in. Thats the type of goal that comes back and bites you in the butt. Looks like the Sabres just kicked back after that first goal, pretty sluggish since then.
