  1. Money? Lets face it, if Sam Adams was only making 1 million per year as opposed to 3 million, he probably would still be a Buffalo Bill. Its funny how wrong ESPN is in terms of our salary cap. Last week we were 6 million under after the franchise tag on Nate...then we cut Mike Williams...and we're somehow down to 2 million according to ESPN's article? Way to fact-check guys...someone give them a link to Clumpy!
  2. Best...video...EVER...
  3. Maybe a 6th rounder. Maybe.
  4. It'll still get done by the end of the week.
  5. I meant that to be for Manny Lawson.
  6. Early word is he's a possiblity for the Patriots with their first rounder.
  7. Lots of love towards the article for saying that Kevin Shaffer should be a Bills target. I completely agree, HUGE upgrade.
  8. Bryant has calmed down a lot since his Cowboys days...I think he would make a great addition to Buffalo. If there is one FA that complements Lee Evans very well, its Antonio Bryant.
  9. Now Huff I would like. A playmaker in the secondary in the mold of Ed Reed or Roy Williams. I'll admit, if the Bills spend their #8 overall on Greenway, I'll be pissed. Yeah, we could use DEPTH to our LB group, but we need STARTERS on the O-Line and D-Line. The Bills wont get any better if they keep dicking around and keep ignoring both lines.
  10. Also for Mike Green, remember the Jauron connection. That cant hurt.
  11. Leif Larsen? Behold the power of Leif.
  12. He's already projected as a first rounder...that might push him up a few spots though...that is an INSANE amount of reps.
  13. They should put Jeff Posey on that list...guy would actually give us 2 million worth of salary cap space.
  14. Here is the huge problem with this theory though... http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=127&p=9&c=12&...=83&rc=16&pid=6 Check out the FA guards available. I dont think we'll have many options to bring in a good guard. At least not one dominating like you described in your post above. A lot of decent guys...but no HUGE stars (not counting Hutch because of the transition tag)
  15. I'd be okay with McCown...I remember in 2004 I was actually very impressed with his abilities and still think if Green kept him as their starter, he would have led Arizona to a playoff game that year (lets remember that was that sad year in which 8-8 teams could make the playoffs in the NFC). But still, playoffs are playoffs...we could do a lot worse than McCown if we're looking for a third option at QB.
  16. Jeebus, #8 looks like Beetlejuice. The character, not the Howard Stern freakshow.
  17. Yes, Lloyd is a RFA. I really like Antonio Bryant as the guy to replace Moulds (if we do in fact cut him of course). Bryant is still very young has good size and great hands. He's matured a lot over the last two years, I think him and Evans could be very good together. Also of note who could step in and start are Antwaan Randle El, David Givens and Joe Jurevicius. After that, the talent does drop off.
  18. Definitely Shaffter. Bentley isnt going to happen, it would take far too much money to sign him and he'd end up being our only FA move all offseason. Get Shaffer, solidify the LT position for the next 5 years. Then go after Toniu Fonoti (Guard) or Justin Hartwig (Center) to give us another starter along the O-Line. Whatever position we didnt sign a new player for in free agency, make it our 2nd round pick in the draft.
  19. Now obviously a lot of this will change due to FA, but I truly believe that the Raiders will select Haloti Ngata one pick ahead of us, now that they have the #7 spot. If thats the case and we keep the #8 pick, we should probably take Michael Huff. And I hate saying that because it means ignoring the O-Line and the D-Line in the first round again...but none of the other prospects are worth such a high selection. Winston Justice is a damn good O-Lineman, but he is kind of troubled in terms of personal problems and he played RT in college. Peters looks to be a damn good RT, so picking him would kind of be worthless. And the 2nd best DT is up for grabs really, there is a bunch of them that all seem to be decent, but not dominating like Ngata. The only plus side to losing out on Ngata and keeping the #8 pick is getting Huff though, he's a down-to-earth kid, huge playmaker, great attitude. Plus, he can play either Safety or CB, so we have some options with him. I think the point is moot though because I feel by having the Bills sitting at #8, one pick above Detroit who could easily take Jay Cutler...the Bills could be fielding a LOT of trade-down offers from teams looking to get their hands on him.
  20. I noticed that now that the Niners have won the coin-toss, a LOT of mocks have the Raiders taking Haloti Ngata and us taking Winston Justice.
  21. Everyone wave goodbye to Eric...its a shame, he's still a damn good WR. But we cant have that contract on our payroll any longer.
  22. I voted for Tapp...but hell, I cant complain if we draft Eslinger. This O-Line needs a shot in the arm like this.
  23. I like Croyle as a 2nd day pick...wouldnt mind him at all.
  24. Well he's better than what we got...
  25. Got to go with Lutui again (since thats who I voted for in the 2nd round). Two improvements to the O-Line like Winston AND Lutui would be very groovy.
