  1. By pushing the beginning of free agency back 3 days? That was probably done to give the teams more time to figure out their salary cap situations than anything else.
  2. So the NFL awards do-overs now, like backyard football? Think we could use our "do-over" on that SB XXV kick? Its only fair!
  3. Just saw that Moulds rejected a 2nd attempt by the Bills to restructure his contract. So yeah...I still think he'll be cut.
  4. As long as he's able to go a full season, bring him in cheap.
  5. New pink slip members. Rams | Claiborne released Thu, 2 Mar 2006 15:01:44 -0800 ESPNews reports the St. Louis Rams have released LB Chris Claiborne. Seahawks | Dyson could be cut Thu, 2 Mar 2006 15:01:44 -0800 John Clayton, of ESPN.com, reports Seattle Seahawks CB Andre Dyson is likely to be cut. Lions | Grootegoed waived Thu, 2 Mar 2006 14:57:26 -0800 DetroitLions.com reports the Detroit Lions have waived LB Matt Grootegoed.
  6. This year...yeah it would suck, Snyder would get somewhat of a free pass...BUT, it also means we can stay competitive in the future. No CBA means death to the small markets.
  7. Groovy...hopefully that means they can settle the CBA in time.
  8. Those are all UFAs. You re-sign UFAs, you tender offers to your Restricted and Exclusive Rights Free Agents.
  9. I dont think he'll be complaining much when he can buy himself a championship in 2007 with no cap.
  10. Where did you hear that? Personally, I would have given Aiken a tender as well...unless they like another WR on our roster and are willing to give him a shot (like Fast Freddie...) Good news for Haggan and Stamer...I doubt either would have gotten any FA love, but still...our special teams look to remain intact for a third straight season.
  11. Well, if they're over the cap...generally the punishment for salary cap violations is taking away draft picks (See, Denver Broncos).
  12. Wow, just had a freaky thought. Say we switched salary cap situations with the Redskins. Say we were the ones who might have to release 20 players today just to get under the cap. This board would implode by 4pm today.
  13. Feels good to be in decent cap space, doesnt it?
  14. Its too bad next year we'll be screwed in FA...but hell, at least we plenty of cap space to play with (even more if we sign/trade Nate and release more dead weight.)
  15. Marv transcends age. He's so old...he's young.
  16. 12 million bucks of cap space looks good...although I'd rather see it closer to 18 million by releasing Moulds, Posey and Anderson.
  17. Poor Sabres seem a bit...out of it tonight...Carolina and Ottawa are also both ahead and will probably get 2 points each. It always seems like when the Sabres have a chance to climb up...they cant do it.
  18. According to their website...... March 2006. Sorry, not much help. Its always after the combine anyways, so I'm guessing either next week or the week after.
  19. So I'm wondering how long it'll take for people to get the joke. Some people still havent figured this out.
  20. So wait a second...the Bills were actually OVER the cap before we released Mike Williams? UGH...not good everyone, I cant see how this team signs anyone in FA with so little cap room.
  21. Ah but I used the word "guess" this time. It means I can hide in the shadows and pretend I never said it if it doesnt come true...or heap oodles upon oodles of love on myself if it does. Kind of like ProFootballTalk.com
  22. Doesn't matter! He's young! Young = Good!
  23. Whoa, whoa, whoa...calm down there. Just messing with you chief. I'm one of the last people on this board who wants to come off as being a dick. My original quote about "more people than Sam being cut" did have nothing to do with Eric Moulds though, but you're right...later on I assumed it would be Moulds that was cut today. And it wasnt. My bad. Guess he wont get chopped until tomorrow.
