  1. Aside from the first 30 seconds, the Sabres look pretty craptacular...maybe we DID need another D-Man afterall. Three HUGE penalties already, they look totally unfocused in the 1st. That is a huge problem with this team, it seems like every time we have a chance to gain ground on the Sens, we immediately screw up and fall back. 2-1 Tampa Bay now. Yikes.
  2. I could live with Mawae for a year or two while Duke learns the game a little better. I still think priority #1 should be bringing in Kevin Schaffer though...we need long-term stability on the blind side.
  3. Due to the salary cap jumping so high, I suppose the chances of trading him is slightly increased. But hell, 16 million under...why trade him at all? We got the cash now to keep him, I'd be more focused with signing Nate to a long-term deal to give us even more cash to play with.
  4. Yep. Its amazing how everyone thinks that the extra 10 million bucks was just for the Bills
  5. You know, its not JUST the Bills who get an extra 10 million dollars to play with...A team like the Cowboys are already 16 million dollars under, now they'll be 26 million dollars under. The only players the Bills have a shot at in that list is Pickett or Lewis.
  6. It was just a joke...honestly I'm sure we'll find why Ralph decided to vote against, but in this case I'm glad he was out-voted.
  7. Anyone else concerned that Ralph was trying to keep football from us this year?
  8. I should be suspended for wasting bandwidth.
  9. We were one of the teams to vote against the deal! Lets go, Buffalo!
  10. NFL | Jones says deal getting closer Wed, 8 Mar 2006 17:27:25 -0800 ESPNews reports Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones briefly left the owners' meeting shortly before the 8 p.m. deadline Wednesday, March 8, with the owners set to decide on the extension and told the waiting throng of reporters that owners were "getting close, getting close," but that it would take about "30 minutes" before anything was known.
  11. Its when Al starts siding with Lamar Hunt that we know the apocalypse is at hand. I truly believe that the only way Al Davis can die a happy man is if he kills Lamar Hunt...WITH the Lamar Hunt trophy, then got taken out in a hail of bullets by the police. A fitting end...for a crazy, crazy man.
  12. Does Ralph know that today is Tuesday?
  13. And the Sabres pull off a good win and stay pace with Ottawa. We just need those damn Sens to drop a game!
  14. I know its been asked before...but I'll ask it again...why is Rory Fitzpatrick still on this team? We can only hope that Darcy is on the phones right now, trying to get another D-man in here so we can bury the Fitzpatrick Experiment.
  15. And it just keeps getting funnier... NFL | Free agency could be pushed back once again Tue, 7 Mar 2006 16:28:28 -0800 ESPN.com's John Clayton reports there is some thought that if owners are still talking Wednesday night, March 8, free agency could be pushed back another 24 hours.
  16. Jim Bob Cooter has a friend.
  17. Wow...who's sniffing the white out over on Fox Sports? So the Bills pass on Ngata...AND Huff...AND Davis...for Broderick Bunkley?
  18. You also have to look at things by putting FA into perspective. There are a bunch of solid, starting DTs available in FA. Same can be said about OTs. And Strong Safetys too I might add. There is not a stud TE available however, nor are there any good starting interior O-Line except for the drastically over-priced LeCharles Bentley. So, it might not be a bad idea to snag Davis while we can, get a star TE to help out Losman and then use our 2nd rounder on the best available interior O-Lineman (Mangold, Joseph, Giles or Lutui) to help compensate FAs crappy selection.
  19. Sooooooooo...why cant we start signing players if the Rams can?
  20. Anyone else feel the Keystone Cops music should be playing every time you click on NFL.com?
  21. You'd really want Mike Williams still on this team?
  22. I know...we could support the XFL!! Wait...damn it.
  23. Got my answer NFL | Salary cap compliance deadline moved again Sun, 5 Mar 2006 20:22:27 -0800 ESPN reports the deadline for all NFL teams to be in salary cap compliance for the 2006 season is now 9 p.m. ET Wednesday, March 8. I wonder what Danny boy had to do to get that pushed back
  24. So this makes me wonder...do teams still have to be under the cap tonight? Or is it now March 9th when they have to be under?
  25. UGH...Pushed back AGAIN. Yeah, thats it NFL...lets reward the teams who screwed with the cap by giving them oodles of time, thats fair to the teams who already have things in order.
