I think this entire offseason will revolve around whether or not Marv actually goes out and improves the O-Line. He got a good DT...thats a step in the right direction to improving the lines. Now lets get one OT in here and one Interior O-Lineman...we'll see if Marv follows through with all of his rhetoric.

Speaking of Schneck, we got to re-sign him. I know LS isnt a big deal, but hell...he DID make the Pro Bowl last year.

If we go out and sign Pickett...then yes, I'd say our DTs are set and anything else we do in the Draft should just be for depth behind Triplett and Pickett. However, I dont think you'll see us go out and sign another DT so Ngata would still be a great addition for us in the Draft. Although I've still got my fingers crossed we'll get Huff...a leader for the Defense for years to come.

I think its going to be Runyan...I bet tomorrow is spent trying to get Andre Davis to sign and then they go all out for Runyan on Monday. Good news about Triplett though, thats a guy I really wanted to get.

I think we'll definitely get Andre Davis by Monday...that guy is uber-talented, you'll all love him.

McCree would be a solid pick-up, but by the sounds of it he's San Diego bound. Still though, Safety is the ONE position in FA that there seems to be talent galore in. Especially for a Cover 2 Defense team like ours.

So, we bring in Antonio Bryant to do...what? Be our 3rd or 4th WR? Yeah, he'll love that after being a #1. Andre Davis is a guy with a LOT of talent who I'd love to see be brought into Buffalo. And I'm not thrilled with the Royal signing either, but hell...there must be something positive about him that Marv sees.

Hmmmm just noticed something. The day we released Adams, Milloy and Campbell, the news of Adams release leaked out early...but the Bills didnt make an official statement until much later and announced that not just Adams was cut, but Milloy and Campbell as well. Its already been leaked that Royal has signed, and that Davis and Triplett came in for a visit...I've got to wonder if the reason Royal's signing hasnt been made "official" yet by BB.com is because they have more signings to announce in a big bunch later tonight? Just a theory...

Well...we DID release Mark Campbell (granted, he wasn't exactly lighting up the field) so I'm thinking this is just a replacement move.

Okay, now here we go. I might be a little biased because I actually PLAYED against Andre Davis when I was in high school (he kicked our team's butts all over the place) but he was always the one guy in that crowded Browns WR corps that I thought had some serious talent...and he put up very good stats considering they used him basically as their 3rd WR. And he had a similiar problem in New England where he was on the merry-go-round of Patriots WRs. Could be worth a look. And Triplett never really panned out to be as dominant of a DT as Indy expected...but hell, he's better than Tim Anderson and could at least bring some talent to our DT field.

Isn't this a huge problem though? I mean, we bring in a guy who an opposing Defense KNOWS cant catch for crap, and every time he's in the game he'll just be the 6th O-Lineman on the field...they'll know the run is coming. Marv, you better be on the phone with Jon Runyan and/or Kevin Mawae right now, I dont think you landed the next Pete Metzelaars.
