  1. Hoorah for Erik Flow...er...Broderick Bunkley!
  2. Having Romeo there helps...but so does being 30 million dollars under the salary cap. Pretty easy to look smart when you can throw 4 million dollar a year contracts at players.
  3. The way some people talk around here, you'd figure Jason Peters is going to play every position along the O-Line...
  4. Fabini is fine...we could do better, we could do worse...the guy at least wont give the "ole!" move and he'll keep defenders out of the backfield if we sign him. Bills STILL need some improvement along the interior.
  5. They are old, but what would you rather have...old players who can still contribute? Or young players who get run over every play? This board got pissed when Ted Washington signed elsewhere, so why not more love for a guy like Grady Jackson who is about 4 years younger and basically the same player? In fact, Jackson had more sacks, more tackles and more playing time than Washington had last year. The Bills need a wide body to play next to Trips...well, he's the widest body we can possibly find.
  6. I think Triplett is our improvement over Adams, what we need is an improvement over Tim Anderson (so...a cardboard cut-out perhaps?). And I'd take Grady Jackson ANY day of the week...at this point, beggers cant be choosers.
  7. There are still some decent DTs available in FA... Grady Jackson is still out there, as is Brenston Buckner, Russell Davis, Lional Dalton (my personal favorite), Brandon Noble and Travis Hall, all capable starters. Also, this draft is overflowing with DTs. I have very little doubt in my mind the Bills will snag a good one, I'd be more worried about our complete lack of effort towards the O-Line.
  8. Well duh, they'd take him...I mean...McGahee IS getting a little long in the tooth, you know the Bills dont like their RBs to be older than 25.
  9. Or how about trade down with the Broncos? Broncos | Team shopping two first-round picks Wed, 15 Mar 2006 08:23:37 -0800 Jeff Legwold, of the Rocky Mountain News, reports the Denver Broncos are shopping their two first-round picks in the 2006 NFL Draft in exchange for early picks in the 2007 NFL Draft. The team does not have much cap space left after paying out several up-front signing bonuses. Of course...that would mean giving up NEXT year's first and second rounders...but hey! Three first rounders!
  10. Hawk is the man, but I think the only person I'm MORE sure of not slipping to our pick is probably Reggie Bush. Hawk will never slip out of the Top 5 with the Packer sitting pretty at #5 with a need at LB.
  11. Crap...stupid Bolts! Ah well...guess we'll have to bring them down ourselves
  12. Damn Sens just tied it up...throw all of your evil cowbell on them!
  13. 4-4! ROY! Now no more talk of cowbell!
  14. I think we need a filter for every time the word "cowbell" is typed, it comes out as "curse"
  15. You're not allowed to post here anymore, you've jinxed them. F'N Cowbell Curse!
  16. Hoo-Hah! http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=43262
  17. This kind of reminds me of the Philly game a few days ago...clearly, Miller is having issues. I can only hope that Ruff decides to bench him in the third and let Biron finish the game out...otherwise, the way Miller has played lately, he might let in 2 or 3 more goals.
  18. 4-3 Caps The Sabres look REALLY bad tonight. Think about it, here it is...their shot, their chance...all they have to do is beat the lowly Caps to keep up with the Sens. And they're down 4 to friggin 3 going into the third against one of the worst teams in the NHL. Something is seriously wrong with Miller, the guy seems to have lost his magic. This is what kills me...if they lose to teams like the Sens, the Canes, the Rangers...fine...those are good teams, no problems there. But losing to the Caps, Thrashers and Montreal? Thats why the Sabres dont get any respect, they tend to lose the games they are supposed to win.
  19. Thats the best we Bills fans can hope for...tolerable.
  20. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/news.jsp?news_id=3646 Bills Sign Mike Schneck Buffalobills.com 03/14/2006 7:16 PM Orchard Park, NY – The Bills today announced that the team has signed LS Mike Schneck. In accordance with club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed. Known for his accurate snapping ability, Schneck handled all of the Bills long-snapping duties in 2005 and was selected as a member of the 2006 AFC Pro Bowl team. The Bills kicking game produced 132 snap opportunities and each was successfully handled by the punter and holder in 2005. The seven-year veteran joined the Bills just prior to the start of the 2005 season after spending the previous six seasons in Pittsburgh.
  21. Dont be so down...it looks like we still have a shot at Reggie Wells!
  22. From Buffalobills.com... Free Agent Visits Free agents Ryan Pickett (DT, St. Louis) and Reggie Wells (G, Arizona) visited One Bills Drive on Tuesday. Scheduling conflicts stopped the 6-2, 330-pound Pickett, who started 59 of 75 games in five years with the Rams, from speaking to the media. However, Wells was available to answer a few questions and Buffalobills.com was there to capture the audio. Wells, a restricted free agent, started 26 of 40 games in three years with the Cardinals. Methinks that Pickett saw all he needed to see and is off to the next city.
  23. One of the BEST moments in NFL history right there.
  24. Oh man...we can only hope, he'd be the cancer that rots that team out from the inside.
  25. Bills didnt announce Royal's signing until 5:30pm I think and Triplett's until 7:30pm...so if he did sign, we probably wont hear anything for a few more hours.
