I think that has to do with Rodgers falling so far in the Draft. It would be very similiar to what would happen if say a guy like AJ Hawk would fall to us this year. We have good, strong LBs...but when a prospect like that falls into your laps its going to be hard to pass him up. Rodgers was supposed to go #1 overall but fell all the way to the Pack...I dont blame them at all for taking him, it was the right move to snag him and, at the very least, provide another option as Favre's replacement.

Totally agree...we'll turn right to Philly and hand Moulds over to them if the Texans start dragging their feet over this. They're the ones who are going to miss out on Moulds if they arent smart.

I would never take a 5th rounder for Moulds. To me, the first overall pick of the 4th round would give us a slipping talent. The first pick in the 5th round just doesnt do it for me.

Could you imagine what would happen to this board if the best deal Marv could get was a 5th or 6th rounder for Eric? My god, half The Wall would be outside his office with rope.

Over on the Texans board, its being reported that NFL Sirius says its a verbal deal for the 4 years, 12 million dollar price as mentioned earlier. No word on the compensation yet...which is beginning to worry me, I dont want to get hosed on this deal.

I've got lower expectations...honestly, I'd be okay with a 4th rounder, but its got to be for THIS year because of how deep this draft is and considering the Texans' 4th is basically a late 3rd. But if its anything less than a 4th...oh man, I've lost all faith in mankind.

Well the only site I saw that said Moulds to the Texans was that one coming from Philly...and that was just a radio broadcast that only a few people heard. I figured some would dig the link from another source. All thats left is to see if Marv got hosed on this one.

As long as its a 4th rounder or better, trade him away. You should hear Texans fans, they think they can get him for a 6th rounder.

Winston never really has been described as a lazy guy like Big Mike was, he just had an injury kill his season two years back. He seems to have come back very strong and determined, I wouldnt mind selecting him in the 2nd.
