  1. Nope...aside from being pissed.
  2. Ugghh, come on Marv...not a 5th rounder, there is NO way the Bills can come out of this looking good to the rest of the league if they gave up a player like Moulds for a practice squad player. But to put minds at ease, I've been reading houstonprofootball.com for the last week and they would cry and scream whenever anyone suggested a 4th was more likely. ESPN News: More details coming up "in a bit"
  3. That would still be a terrible deal for us. This year we KNOW is packed with O-Line and D-Line help...we needed that 4th rounder this year, it would help us tremendously.
  4. ESPN News...4 year, 14 million dollars...still no word on compensation.
  5. ...well, whatever works I suppose. I'd be all for whoring Marv off if it means a 3rd. Take one for the team Marv!
  6. Are you ghetto dissin' Gazoo?
  7. I've got it on ESPNews, so I'll drop any knowledge to everyone when it comes across
  8. YA RLY! LOLOLOLLLOL!!!1!!!1!! *starts to sob*
  9. Or it could be something REALLY lame, like a pick next year in what looks to be a much weaker class.
  10. God, I got the sinking feeling that Marv caved in for a 5th...
  11. It was me who said his tackling was like Antoine, and I'll still stand by that after seeing him play for the last 3 years. That being said however, the Bills might not even get a CHANCE to draft him. I'm hearing a lot of talk about San Fran taking him at #6 (in fact, I believe they are wining and dining with him this week as well) so we might be s.o.l. at getting Huff. In a related note, I am slightly warming up to Winston Justice however...I'm just worried whether or not he can make the transition from RT to LT. I know playing RT with Leinart as your QB basically made you the default LT on most teams, but its still quite a jump. Still though, I wouldnt be too upset if the Bills took him at #8. In fact, if the Bills took any one of the following players: Huff, Justice, Ngata or Davis...I'd be content with our pick. They all have decent reasons for being selected and help fill a hole at the same time.
  12. Good for Lindy for going after Tucker like that. Tucker is an absolute scumbag, and if ANYONE saw that play you would know everything Lindy said was the absolute truth. And now we're down Hecht for the playoffs because some idiot Maple Leaf got his panties in a bunch. I hope the league does something about this...but I know they wont.
  13. I dont think ANYONE is advocating not taking a DT at all in this draft. In fact, I'm willing to bet 99% of the board wants the Bills to draft a DT on Day One. I think whats being said is that the DT pool is very deep this year, so reaching on a guy like Ngata who seems to be only slightly ahead of the pack doesnt make much sense when we could take a player like Huff or Davis who are downright dominant at their position and have no close peers. We can still grab a starting DT in the 2nd or 3rd round with this class.
  14. Good win by the Sabres...lets hope they can climb out of their slump with this one.
  15. Oh goodie, we've done so well in shoot outs lately.
  16. Are you kidding me? They HATE their GM for that very reason. Casserly is well-known for being very cheap with the Texans money.
  17. Thats some great stuff. Somewhat related to this conspiracy theory idea, a buddy of mine decided that since there was no mathematical way he could fail this journalism class he was taking, he wrote his final 20-page paper on how the 1964 holiday television classic "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer" was actually communist propaganda. You havent lived until you've read three pages on how Yukon Cornelius' obsession with silver and gold shows the folly of the capitalist dogma.
  18. You and your man-love for those Bengals! I'm not overly impressed with Walter's stats though, looks like a scrub to me. 3 seasons and only 296 yards and one TD? Its pretty obvious to me at best they brought this guy in to be the 3rd or (probably) the 4th WR.
  19. I would be calling up Philly right now, telling them that the Texans are reluctant to part with their third rounder for Moulds. I'd tell the Eagles if they offer their third by the end of the day before the Texans respond, they can have him. I'd call back the Texans and say the Eagles are going to give up their third, but they can trump them by offering up one of their own thirds by the end of the day. Then I'd sit back and see who is the fastest on calling me back. Maybe send them a link to the list of available FA WRs left on the market and those around in the Draft just to get them to panic even more. Go ahead Marv, be evil...play them off each other.
  20. I agree. Normally I'd actually be rooting for a conditional 3rd, but this year is just SO deep in all of the areas we need help at. It almost seems like this draft was tailor-made to fit our needs. I'd rather take a 4th in this draft and pick up another future starter than worry whether or not we'll have that luxury if next year's draft is weaker. I know the Bills are gunning for a third...but I'd just take the Texans 4th if they're offering it. Thats basically a late 3rd rounder, plus we'd have all night and morning to plan for who we will take. We cant rape EVERY team for draft picks like we did with the Falcons.
  21. I agree, this draft is almost obnoxiously deep in DT talent, I really dont think there should be a rush for the Bills to freak out and draft one in the first round. Especially since our pick in the 2nd is pretty early. I'm still on the Huff bandwagon, he's above and beyond any of the other Safeties in this Draft. He'll probably be the best available player at #8 as well, so it fills a need and gives us an excellent talent.
  22. I've heard a lot of bad things about Winston Justice. The one thing that keeps popping up is questionable maturity and poor decision making (both on and off the field). He's got all the physical talent in the world (maybe even more than D'Brick) but his brain leaves a lot to be desired. I dont know, I'd pass on him...we can still land a starting OT in the 2nd round with our high pick.
  23. Being around the Albany area, the local paper here basically whores the Giants off any way they can. The Giants can never do any wrong. They are gods among men basically. But they ripped on Will Allen CONSTANTLY for the last two years. Giants fans hated the guy, he was reaching Chris Watson levels of "toastyness". I have no fear of Will Allen, watching Giant games the only thing you'd see is the back of his jersey before he got smoked for a TD.
  24. Heeeeeeeey, that guy stole my draft! Or at least a good deal of it I'd be very happy with that draft, aside from the Jason Allen pick. He's a damn good player, but I'm a little weary of his past injury problems. Still though, I wouldnt complain too much if thats how the draft laid itself out. Write it down, Hank Baskett is going to be a STEAL in this draft. I doubt ever a big-time #1 playmaker, but I do think he's going to eventually be a solid, possession #2 WR in the NFL.
