  1. Count me as another guy who was surprised he did that well in 2012.
  2. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-2/Team-statement-on-Deadspin-report/454c9b58-c8ef-4199-934a-222103cc634c Bills statement on the Deadspin article.
  3. I would think that, with Pettine's promised Multi-front Defense, we would find a spot for him somewhere to cause havoc. I'm very much in favor of using #8 for Jones.
  4. Is it bad that there is a side of me that wants the Bills to announce no free agent signings or even visits over the next couple of days just to watch The Wall go full-blown psychotic against Nix?
  5. I think the silver lining for Nix and the Bucs GM is that this came out on the first day of free agency...after the first big deals start hitting the wire, this will get pushed aside for real news.
  6. If we bring in any TEs (and thats a big if) its going to be a UFA and not someone we have to give up picks for. Think Brandon Myers or Kevin Boss.
  7. Please. Like the rest of the NFL didn't know already how unorganized we are. Plus Nix already showed his cards months ago when he said we needed a starting QB. There is nothing in that conversation that "reveals" anything the rest of the teams didnt already know.
  8. Its kinda comforting to know that Nix views Fitzpatrick as a problem.
  9. Eh. I'm fine with this. He's, at best, a nickel back at this stage in his career though.
  10. I agree 100%. I've always gotten an Alvin Harper/Peerless Price vibe from him and when Green Bay was able to still be productive without him it validated that theory for me. I want nothing to do with him.
  11. If only 7.5 is guaranteed over 4 years, damn good deal. I'd still like us to pick up another CB in free agency just to shore up the secondary.
  12. Gamble would be a solid #2 for us. Would definitely be interested.
  13. Meh. I liked Takeo when he was here but injuries have left him a shell of the dominant force he used to be. He still piles up the tackles, but lets remember his last Pro Bowl appearance was with us...8 years ago.
  14. In order of preference. 1. Dion Jordan, LB out of Oregon 2. Geno Smith, QB out of West Virginia 3. Eric Fisher, OT out of Central Michigan 4. Jarvis Jones, LB out of Georgia 5. Dee Milliner, CB out of Alabama 6. Barkevious Mingo, LB out LSU 7. Cordarelle Patterson, WR out of Tennessee 8. Chance Warmack, OG out of Alabama
  15. I actually think he and Scott Chandler were teammates at Iowa. Wouldn't be a bad pickup at all for Chandler-insurance.
  16. Would be very happy to have Mike DeVito here...good hard-nosed player with a lot of versatility. I would also be okay with Brandon Moore being signed as a stop-gap for a drafted guard in maybe the 4th or 5th round.
  17. I would wager both Scott and Smith end up here.
  18. Sad to see McGee go just for the amount of work he put in over the years. A damn fine Bill...best of luck to him!
  19. Bring him back for cheap and see how he holds up in camp. Can never have too many tackles.
  20. Didnt I hear that Hackett was serving as our O-Coordinator/QB coach?
  21. Just my opinion, but I think due to the fact that Hackett hasn't been officially announced either, Marrone is waiting to get his entire staff in place (coordinators + assistants) before he announces them in one big group.
  22. A rough list of who is a UFA at CB. Aqib Talib Brent Grimes Sean Smith Chris Houston Cary Williams Derek Cox Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie E.J. Biggers Mike Jenkins Bradley Fletcher Keenan Lewis Sheldon Brown Quentin Jammer Brice McCain Leodis McKelvin Tony Carter Terence Newman Kyle Arrington Tracy Porter Antoine Cason Rashean Mathis Jacob Lacey Pacman Jones Jerraud Powers Joselio Hanson Darius Butler Captain Munnerlyn Stanford Routt Marcus Trufant Leigh Bodden Chris Owens Shawntae Spencer Kelvin Hayden William Middleton Pat Lee Cedric Griffin Greg Toler D.J. Moore Michael Adams Drayton Florence Ryan Mouton Zackary Bowman Michael Coe Alan Ball Will Allen Drew Coleman Alphonso Smith Chris Carr Chris Johnson
