Game 4: Ottawa at Buffalo 7PM EST
BillsGuyInMalta replied to Oneonta Buffalo Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It aint ovah until the fat lady sings. Sabres got to show a killer edge and find a way to finish off a dangerous Senators team. It's going to be a real test tomorrow night, thats for sure. -
LMAO - This is perhaps the greatest thing.....
BillsGuyInMalta replied to Lv-Bills's topic in Off the Wall Archives
That was one of my favorite games...SOLID. -
Gotta have faith. I know Rory hasnt won too many fans this year but tonight he'll have the chance to show everyone what he's made of.
-
Isnt that how Joe Burns stays on roster?
-
I'm actually not too worried about Timmy missing time. If he does, we have more than enough depth on our lines to at least be able to compensate his production. It'll be hard to match it, but I dont think we'll suffer any huge drop off. However, I'm terrified of Kalinin being hurt. Images of Rory Fitzpatrick have entered my head...and I'm scared for the Sabres.

Looked totally clean to me...Timmy lowered his head and kind of ran into it.

The arena is going to be rocking for Game Three, but we still have to find a way to get pucks on Emery. He's been shaky at best so far in the series when we do put shots on him, problem for us is the Ottawa Defense has been absolutely amazing. Time to come out strong in Game Three and knock these guys back. -

Holy crap...okay, just for reference... We got 17 shots on Emery, he had 15 saves. Ottawa got 44 friggin shots on Miller, he had 43 saves. Miller STOLE this one for us. Thank God for him. Still though, I expect the offense to pick up in Game Three, thats where we'll start putting them out on Emery. Good start to the series by Buffalo, still need two more games to put it away. Ottawa is ONE TOUGH TEAM, thats for damn sure. -

Sabres have got to find a way to get to Emery in the 3rd. Right now Ottawa has 29 shots on Ryan Miller while we've only managed 13 on Emery...yet we have the lead. Thats impressive, but that type of play wont let you leave with a victory. The Sabres got to take it to Ottawa in the 3rd and get them playing defensive hockey. Take them out of their game right from the start now that we got the PP to kick it off. -

Its all good man, dont worry about it. Sabres do need to start improving their D, I think the Sens already have like 25 shots on Miller tonight. -

Thats been a problem for Buffalo, they go up 2-0 and have issues holding the lead. We're playing strong but once again we arent getting any pucks on net. Cant expect to win games without putting them on Emery. -

Hopefully the Sabres tighten the screws in the 2nd and 3rd, we all know thats usually when they turn on their game. Good news is Ottawa came out strong and Buffalo countered nicely...they just have to stop the penalties. -

Does Anyone Remember a TV Show on PBS..
BillsGuyInMalta replied to Arkady Renko's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I actually had a similiar problem with remembering a messed up tv show from my youth. I'm 24 right now and up until two years ago I naturally assumed I imagined this one really screwy cartoon show that involved two koala bears, one pink and one blue, who came from another dimension and could stop time with a wrist watch. I was with some friends at a bar in Albany, and just blurted out what a messed up idea that was...and was SHOCKED to find that two people actually remembered that tv show as well...a quick google search when I got home told me the show was called The Noozles and used to air in the early days of Nickelodeon. So I found out I wasnt a total nutjob by imagining a tv show featuring multi-colored koala bears who escaped persecution from a fascist Australian monster government (I'm serious, this was all stuff from the show...a kid's show). Wish I could help you with that messed up PBS show...dont remember that one at all -
Prodding...too much prodding...

Damn, How 'Bout Those Devils?
BillsGuyInMalta replied to Alaska Darin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bingo, I think the Devils definitely bought into their own hype because they were basically fed the hapless Rangers in the first round. The Devils are still a VERY talented team and likely to stick it to Carolina in Game Two. I wouldnt count them out just yet. -
Great news for Bruce Campbell fans....
BillsGuyInMalta replied to ajzepp's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Blasphemy! How dare thee get the Lord and Savior Bruce's name wrong! He shall smithe thee for thouest arrogance against him! On a side note, I went to a Bruce Campbell book signing where he told me that I gave him the "crappiest prop he's ever had to sign in 20 years". It was a fake plastic chainsaw I bought at a Halloween Hall. Its hanging on my wall right now. I feel proud to have that distinction. -
now that one draft is done it's time to talk about
BillsGuyInMalta replied to frogger's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I guarantee you the Dolphins use a pick on him. They are collecting criminals down there. -
OLB is tough, I think the 4th OLB spot will be between Ellison and Stamer all camp long, but if I had to guess I'd say keep Spikes, Crowell, Posey and Stamer. Ellison goes on the Practice Squad. DT seems pretty easy to me. Keep Trips, Anderson, McCargo and Williams and cut everyone else. Sorry Sape fan club, it was fun while it lasted but we actually have somewhat decent depth now (at least on paper for the Cover 2). For OG I'd keep Villarial, Reyes, Preston, McFarland and Geisinger. Bennie The Penalty has to go, even for depth purposes he's a liability IMO. Merz to the Practice Squad (Although dont ask me why, but I have a good feeling about this kid. Good feeling as in "future starter". Cant explain it...just a feeling.) I think the Bills end up carrying 6 WRs this year, so that'll mean Evans, Price, Reed, Parrish, Davis and (hopefully) Nance makes the team. Its a shame that Aiken will have to go bye-bye but just being a good special teams player isnt enough these days. He hasnt shown a damn thing as a WR in years, so its off to the unemployment line with him. Its obviously silly to try and cut down to 53 when minicamps arent even over yet, I'm sure my opinion will change once I see how everyone does in camp. We always have one or two surprises that jump out and make the squad.

Does anyone have any video highlights
BillsGuyInMalta replied to Oneonta Buffalo Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/prospects?rank_type=2 Just find our guys from this list and click on the little camera thing to watch highlights. All of our picks highlights are on there (except Merz) and Martin Nance and Matthew Rice are also on there. -
For those who missed it (or just want to check out the highlights) in one minute, OLN will be airing highlights at the first intermission of the Ducks Avalanche game.
