HOPEFULLY thats the case. I havent heard any of the radio coverage, but I'd much rather have it fall on JP's back to simply get rid of the ball as opposed to having our entire O-Line given up 3 sacks already.

Up until now the O-Line was giving Losman some time...they'll need to gel, no doubt. But its not all bad.

But the special team screw-ups are at least the ONE thing I can convince myself will be gone when the regular season begins. Bobby April gets his guys ready for Week One, no doubt. And a buddy of mine had a hilarious insight about Anthony Thomas. The guy will always seem to average 3.3 yards per season. Give him a crappy line? 3.3 yards per season. Give him a good line? 3.3 yards per season.

Extra reps for the secondary this week in practice! But to be fair, they were big plays given up to one of, if not the biggest, big play WR in the NFL. Chad's been doing that to Defenses for the past few years. I kinda chuckled when I heard it though, immediately thought about our "superstar" franchised CB.

Somewhat related, I bet Kyle Williams comes back to Earth this week. Not saying he wont be a good player, but its rare to get back to back solid performances by a rookie in preseason. Especially a 5th rounder who gets plugged in as a starter.

That actually reminds me of watching Andy Katzenmoyer, the LB who eventually got drafted by New England, just get worse and worse as his career went on. Nowhere near the level of sadness that Maurice is at since Andy, despite being an idiot, was never carrying around machetes and assault rifles. Katzenmoyer was the ONLY guy I can think of who though actually got worse with the more experience he got on the field. His freshman year in college was light outs...then it was just a downward slope from there.

Had my Takeo Spikes jersey on earlier but I'm leaving this afternoon to start a friends' birthday celebration early so I had to change off into something more...normal. Ugh. I hate normal.
