  1. If you check out Sabres.com, they have a teaser of the front page of the new jersey...problem is, in this wacky internet age of ours, its easy to crack a pixelation graphic like that. Someone over on SabresFans.com did just that, and we have our first look at the new jersey. http://img172.imageshack.us/img172/2609/sabresdy3.png http://sabresfans.com/images%5CPlethNewJersey.JPG

  3. Bakay is a HUGE Bills fans. Hence...the love.
  4. Whoa, talk about a change in attitude from the Bills front office after that first game! We cut the sensitive sounding Robin Meadow to make room for a Dark Lord of the Force! Creeeeeepy!
  5. Okay...really has nothing to do with your post (which for the most part I agree with). I just have to ask you one simple question. WHO IS THE MASTER LEROY!?
  6. The point is though, the last time that Losman played against the Dolphins, he tossed THREE Touchdowns to Lee Evans. You'd figure a Fantasy Football "expert" would be aware of that.
  7. This makes the third national media article I've read that comments on how some of the ref's calls against the Bills were "iffy" at best. Still though, doesnt make me feel any better.
  8. Sadly...we've been saying that for the last six years...
  9. Hey, I read around these boards yesterday some people claiming that it doesnt matter how you lose, a loss is a loss. And I agree somewhat, when you look at the standings the Bills 0-1 is the same as the Raiders 0-1. But come on...how would you all be feeling if we lost our game the way the Raiders did? Not very hopeful, right?
  10. Not like I'm all of a sudden buying into Quinn's crap that this is the greatest logo in the world...I still think its pretty hideous. But if my options unfortunately are crappy logo by itself or crappy logo with a few other things that make it look slightly LESS crappy...I'm going with the latter.
  11. The refs wont have a chance to give this game to the Dolphins.
  12. I think everyone thought the Niners were dumb for dumping so much money into Jonas. Not just us Bills fans, but the national media as well.
  13. Here is a pic of the new logo on the pants, from SabreSFans.com Guess the rookies are wearing some of the new duds today and we got a sneak peak. http://usera.imagecave.com/sakiawarner/sabres.jpg I dont know...it doesnt look SO bad when its got a blue background behind it and the word "Sabres" underneath it.
  14. Miami's O-Line is MUCH worse than New England's. I bet Fewell is salivating over the thought of sending blitzes up the middle of that line. I think our DTs are really going to have a great game against Miami, especially whichever DT is lucky enough to line up across Bennie Anderson. One quick stunt move to get Bennie out of position and then BAM...right into the backfield. The key HAS to be to stop the run. Our Secondary showed they are overflowing with talent against New England and I think after watching the film they'll be even better. Maybe even a Youboty appearance if he's feeling up to it. If we can stop Ronnie Brown and force Culpepper to win the game by himself, then we'll have them.
  15. Well the good news is that we are headed into a game against a team that has a fairly weak secondary. Dont get me wrong, Miami's front seven is very formidable but even their own fans will admit their secondary is spotty, at best. Couple this with the success that Losman and Evans had last time against the Fins, I bet we'll see a LOT more shots down the field this week. Another good sign, McGahee tends to be a bounce back player. He's definitely got an ego, but that works in our favor too. He'll want to come out strong against Miami, in the city that he first came into the national spotlight, and showcase his skills. If Losman and Evans are attacking Miami's weak secondary, that should cause their LBs to fall back...and thats when Willis will tear them apart. Good signs abound for this weekend.
  16. I've given a lot of love towards this team today, but I'll be the first to admit that I'm not going to gush over them if they dont take what they learned today into the game against Miami. I dont want to see them take a step back with Losman throwing a handful of INTs or McGahee fumbling the ball. I want to see them learn from their mistakes, tighten up the screws, and take Miami out in front of their home crowd. I think they will do just that. I dont think it'll be easy by any means, but I do see the Bills beating the Dolphins in Miami.
  17. I'll field this one. "But...but...but...I'm tired of waiting! This team is never going to get any better! Bills r teh suck!"
  18. How much of that though is BECAUSE we constantly give up on our coaching staff? Dont get me wrong, I wasnt a huge fan of Meathead towards the end...but at the same time the constant overhaul of coaching staffs cant be a good way to teach the players how to close out games. Just seems like we are often quick to execute the coaches around these parts.
  19. 10 points. Remind me who the opposing QB was who shredded the Fins on Thursday? I'm sure being beaten for 3 TDs by Megastar Charlie Batch sits fine for Fin Fans.
  20. No Dolphins team has ever done that...
  21. So wait a second...if you expected this all to happen, why are you upset over it? Seems like you'd be used to it by now.
  22. Oy. Willis, you better show up BIG TIME next week in Miami.
  23. "Donny, these men are nihilists, there’s nothing to be afraid of..."
  24. Yeah cause this needed its own thread.
