The more I think about it the more I believe we'll package our 2nd and 3rd rounder into a late round 1st and grab The Poz after selecting a RB with our first rounder.
That leaves the last 3rd rounder to fill a hole at CB...which is definitely not optimal, but I have a feeling we'll see some good CB talent slip this year, much like Youboty fell to us in 2006.
I had the exact same thought, Poz just reminds me of a throwback, old-school type of LB that Marv would fall in love with.
Sad part is I doubt we trade down to get him, I get the feeling the Bills will snatch him up at #12.
Also of note, on Chris Brown's blog on BB.com he says that Rhodes' flight into Buffalo was delayed, but that he did arrive in the afternoon. Says there doesnt appear to be anything "imminent" with Rhodes in terms of a signing.
Which means Rhodes will be a Bill by 5
I bet Rhodes isnt the only visitor we have tomorrow in Buffalo...
*cough cough* Not that I'd have some inside information on another player headed in *cough cough*
...honestly, I dont...but it seems like the Bills often invite players in bunches, dont they?
He's also a huge threat catching the ball coming out of the backfield...honestly, the more I hear about this guy the more I think his style would fit perfectly with our offense.
Thats a lot of "grip" for Dockery (to use the prison lexicon) but its definitely worth it in my books. We finally have some maulers up front that can just toss D-Lineman aside.
Yep, its definitely upgraded...but not finished. I still want to see another guard be brought in for that RG spot, then we can ease up on the O-Line and maybe grab a decent CB.
Methinks we'll still see one more guard brought in, and a CB.
I'm getting the distinct vibe we are going to address LB through the draft.
Just a feeling, dont ask me to validate.
And damn its good to be back on The Wall
