Stranger things have happened. Up until three days before the 2005 draft, everyone was convinced Aaron Rodgers was going #1 overall.

But they wont spend to the cap (not to the full cap, taking into consideration cash to cap). The Bills have a certain amount of cash they are going to allocate for FAs. If they finally told Coles to take a hike, the cash they were going to give him with their contract offer can now be used for other things...such as signing Florence, June, Jones, etc. Besides my "source" is still pretty confident that Coles will not be a Buffalo Bill.

Right, but the Bills werent going to be making any moves until they knew one way or another that Coles was either signing or going. Considering the flury of FA news over the last few hours, I would guess that Coles is going elsewhere, hence the reason the money is freed up.

I'm willing to bet that the opposite is true with Coles. I bet they told him to go take a hike this afternoon, hence the call at 3:45. Thats also why all of these visits are popping up, they're using the money they were going to throw at Coles and direct it to other spots.

These misfits from the Guild just dont understand us Venture fans. Venture Brothers IS not only the best show on Adult Swim, but I might stretch that farther and say it is the best written show on TV right now. The jokes are hilarious, the character development is top notch and the voice acting is spot on. My only problem with the show is also the show's greatest strength. If you havent seen an episode before and you catch an episode in mid-season, you'll have NO idea whats going on. Its kinda like Lost where you have to watch it from the beginning to understand who everyone is and whats going on.

It makes sense, if they sign Florence (way to go Bills FO) they'd have Florence, Jammer, Cason and Cromartie. Thats a pretty loaded CB corps. If they could trade Cromartie for a first or second rounder, and still have their CBs locked down, why not do it?
